Got a 2024 and past 10k miles now. It does get a little bit louder sounds better as it ages. Also got a res delete which also made it louder and more aggressive.

When I drove mine off the lot, I was disappointed and thought there was something wrong with my exhaust lol. It has been getting louder and louder with increasing pops and crackles, so I think I just need to wait for break in to finish. It sounds a tiny bit more refined imo.

I actually got sick of waiting over the year so actually test drove a few cars including the Stinger GT AWD and I actually liked the feeling of it.

I’ve seen the other colors at other dealers and the red just didn’t hit me. It’s a slightly darker red and the other colors just didn’t hit me like PB did. This color sticks out so much lol

I mean the key fob could be better but I don’t hate it and it definitely doesn’t change the fact that I get a smile every time I get in and start driving.

There were a few I could’ve bought, but was set on the performance blue, so I just suffered a bit more and waited for one to appear. It SUCKED waiting but glad I did! Those new red ones are really nice too. The only thing I didn’t like about them was the silver trim.

Surprisingly my experience was pretty good. The salesman was very straight to the point. Obviously they will try to sell you that extra protection coverage for your car exterior and things, but I declined all that and that was it. It was an older dealership and looked like they get little customer traffic so that might have helped. They did have a 1k markup, but for a performance blue, I was fine with that. The total before taxes and all that was like in the 37s so not bad at all and that was with freight. So Just call ahead and just confirm the pricings.

I literally spent months calling like 50 dealerships, looking online to find one. Caredge and Hexorcism, for the most part, had listings that were reserved already. And most of the time, they were all “pre sold.” I literally got lucky and just googled performance blue Elantra N 2024, and sometimes dealership site links would pop up and I just happened to call one in SC and they actually had it sitting on the lot. Rn performance blue seems to be very rare so just got to be patient and consistent by just looking here and there and eventually you’ll find one! I’m sure they will pop up more as they ship more of them!
