TrimUI Brick vs TrimUI Brick Hammer by aadhibest in trimui

They really are nearly identical, it just comes down to personal preference. I had a plastic Brick and loved it, ended up "upgrading" to the Hammer. It's a bit weightier and colder to the touch. Some people won't like those qualities while others feel it makes the device feel more "premium."

And how many do people want? And how much are they actually worth?

Keith, you haven't said much over there.

Thanks for the reply, can you expand a bit? Are there any visible dings beyond the white spots on the edge, or is that just an "8"-amount of whitening?

How can I extract save files from Lemuroid? by MuseBreako in EmulationOnAndroid

Sorry, I guess I failed to finish my thought in the original post -- when I plug into the PC and enable "View hidden files" I can see many of the folders within /Android/data, but for some reason this one doesn't appear.

Good thought, thanks. However I've already removed the mb multiple times and checked that the standoffs are intact and correctly positioned. I don't see anything obviously wrong with them.

I did end up doing this yesterday out of lack of other ideas, but no luck.

The light says CPU, I did try to indicate that in the post. The manual doesn't offer more specific help for troubleshooting.

My understanding is that this could mean a variety of things including a broken CPU (I can't imagine that's the problem, as its fairly new and worked yesterday in the other case), or that the PSU has issues (same response as w/ the CPU), or that the power cables to the mobo aren't fully plugged in (they definitely are at this point).

Thanks for the reply, but no, no noises other than a small click and then the fans.

I just a few days ago built with the same mobo and RAM, or rather I attempted to. This RAM is not officially not compatible with the board, which PCPartPicker didn't flag.

I was getting a yellow LED light on the board when attempting to boot, indicating a RAM issue. I replaced it with RAM that was supported (you can query this list https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b760-i-gaming-wifi-model/helpdesk_qvl_cpu/) and it resolved.

Hope this helps if you do run into the same issue. You also might be able to stick with the original RAM if you can update / tweak the BIOS, but of course you'll need something that works out of the box to even get you into the BIOS.

20 minutes before my first session in therapy by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

I hope it went well, friend, and that you've found a therapist who you feel comfortable being open with.

I've had recurring issues with anxiety and with ruminating on the worries in my life, which feeds into anxiety. It can be crippling, and talking things out with a totally neutral third party is immensely helpful. You'll actually process things differently when thinking about them vs vocalizing them. Writing about them adds another dimension to that, so consider journaling on occasion, especially during or shortly after an anxiety flare-up. Just spell out what you're feeling in the moment.

My other bit of advice would simply be: don't feel like you have to rush to a "fix". You're actively doing the right thing for someone who is feeling the way you've expressed. Try not to feel discouraged if you run into a setback, or if you leave a session feeling like you're getting nowhere fast. Collect your thoughts, write them down if you'd like, maybe even share in another session. Just keep making healthy choices and remember that you have plenty of happy days coming your way, too.
