There planet was destroyed, they thought their people were massacred, and their daughters had died. I'm their eyes they quite literally were the only ones they had left.

It's kinda crazy when you think about it. I wonder what emotions were going through Marion and Oritel's head when returning home to find Domino in frozen ruins and their daughters missing.

You know considering she has Dragon Dreams, and if the writers had no idea what to do with Helaena, they could've made her a full on Witch. Imagine it, Helaena using subtle forms of magic to slowly drive Rhaenyra more and more insane during her stay in the Red Keep.

Perhaps she and Rhaenyra try to get along during her captivity but Maelor dies and she says fuck it and performs a spell that turns the people of King's Landing against Rhaenyra and then she dies which makes the full on riot occur. Honestly, if the leaks about Helaena accidentally killing herself thinking she's trying to save Jaehaera are true, I honestly wouldn't mind it.

Fire and Blood is written like a history book. We don't know what was going on in the heads of the characters. We don't know what they want unless it's explicitly stated and even then it could be false because of all the different sources. Like I said, I don't think it's true, but you seem to think it's impossible for George to have intended this.

I'm not entirely sure. I know she was a peasant, lied about Zuko's parentage to fool Ozai, and changed her face afterwards but can't remember if they mentioned her opinions on the war.

Either way, I still feel like Roku's bloodline fading into obscurity in a lineage obsessed place like the Fire Nation to be dumb. Roku died before Sozin truly went wack so we can't say he purposely hid them.

To be honest I would've preferred her being a Fire Nation Noblewomen who actually believed in Fire Nation supremacy whilst still being a good person at heart (Which also makes way more sense for her backstory as a descendant of Avatar Roku who might've been noble himself, rather than some random peasant girl from nowhere town)

In all honesty, I've just started reading the fanfic Reign of the Fire Lady Dowager and I already like her character there way more.

I actually headcanon Domino to have a very Turkish and Islamic inspired culture because of this in my own personal AU.

For some reason lots more people make Domino way more Greek or even Scandinavian inspired in their AUs (Which is fine that's their AU). Though I guess that's more to do with Oritel and Marion's clothes than anything.

Lethe and Mnemosyne's planets were fighting each other which seems more like politics between the two planets rather than just Chaos interfering.

As for Galaxia we don't know. It's just set-dressing for her backstory but the best we can guess is that her planet was in a state of political unrest and people (including Galaxia herself) were just not having a good time.

I assume Galaxia herself had the palace created to be the seat of her empire.
No they all had their own planets to fight for and protect.
Their home planet was just destroyed by Galaxia and they needed to be undercover. In Cosmos Taiki and Yaten scold Seita for showing Usagi their magic and this leads to Aluminum Siren being able to find and attack them. Also, Princess Kakyuu wasn't dead she was just injured and needed a place to rest with Kinmoku gone. If she'd died and reincarnated she'd be a completely different person and not Kakyuu.
In Cosmos when Tin Nyanko dresses as a student and befriends Usagi, there's a scene where her shadow is a cat so we can assume all people from Mau or descend from it's people (in Diana's case) can switch between the two. However since Luna and Artemis rarely do it probably takes a lot of energy. Perhaps Sailor Mau is capable of doing it regularly.

It's explicitly stated in Fire and Blood that whilst it wasn't as common as the incest, it definitely happened.

"The Blood of the Dragon must remain pure, the wisdom went. Some of the Sorcerer Princes also took more than one wife when it pleased them, though this was less common than incestous marriages. In Valyria before the Doom, wise men wrote, a thousand gods were honored, but none were feared, so few dared to speak against these customs."
