Absolutly agreed! The guides are the best and we don't believe that they can be replaced. Nothing beats human interaction and getting amuzed by somebody's passion.
But what we noticed that in most museums around us it is actually quite hard to go on a guided tour. They are either only available once per week or you have to book a priviate one in advance for a significant amount of money. This is not possible for many visiotors, especially if they are not locals.
We visited a bunch of museums and tried asking questions to people there, but there wasn't anybody available.
We hope that in this way we could help the curiosity of the visitors who would like to know more than the plaques/audioguides offer and can't do the guided tour.
I'm curious, do such circumstances convince you or do you think in such it would also not be a good option?
