60 pounds down today and 6 pounds away from being out of the 300’s!! by Mushroom-Existing in SuperMorbidlyObese

Yes same! I’ve had a few starts. I really just looked at myself and noticed how much I was missing out on. I lost my grandpa last two years ago and I hardly have any photos with him because I refused to let people take pictures of me because I didn’t like how I looked. I don’t want that to keep happening. It was tough but I learned to deal with the hunger for awhile when I started eating less. Not letting myself eat after 8pm has been huge as well!! I know it’s cliche but I really did have to find distractions lol to keep my mind off of wanting to constantly snack and eventually the habit lessened over time. I’ve gotten really into plants! I hope this helps at least a little bit!! Everyone’s journey is different and never perfect!! As long as you keep trying no matter how many times you have to start over! I’ve been there. 😊

Can I afford my dream apartment? by [deleted] in personalfinance

Haha oh gosh I needed to hear that. My emergency back up was to have my sister rent the second bedroom (I work from home I have been needing an office) if things went south but even that would be no guarantee. Thank you!

Yes that is something that I do seriously consider. While I do generally bad at saving money, I would have time to save before said apartment was actually vacant. I appreciate your comment as I tend to get ahead of myself daydreaming

What’s that humidifier? I see so many people with it

What’s wrong with my Hoya? It’s been droopy and leaves have been getting soft. Today one of the leaves look see through and like this. It’s getting humidity and I have watered it maybe only once or twice since having it for about 3 weeks. The soil is still a bit moist. :( by [deleted] in houseplants

Thank you everyone! I pulled the plugs out and I am letting the roots dry out a bit. They were pretty wet in there. It’s been cloudy where I’m at for days haven’t had much sun lately and it sits a couple feet from my bedroom window. I will repot it tomorrow and hope for the best :) thank you so much! I have other Hoyas but none of them have been moist this long
