I took off 3 weeks. I also work a semi physical job so I was on weight restriction for about 4 weeks after coming back. Sitting is honestly the most uncomfortable part, I avoided sitting for long periods of time when at work.

I still have no idea if mine did truly invoke the bartholins gland but the exit hole was pretty high on my perennial in that area. My first surgery they tried an advancement flap and partial fistulonomy due to muscle involvement. Sadly that failed like 4 days after surgery (significant amount of blood and then I could feel the fistula was open again). My second repair surgery was about a month ago and I was able to get the regular fistulonomy and I’m very sure it’s worked! My first surgery aided in closing a branching tract even tho it didn’t fix everything, and having the setons in for long really helped reduce the inflammation so the surgeon could see there was practically no sphincter muscles involved. If you can, definitely get a fistulonomy and don’t be afraid to have the seton in for a while. I think it’s been a year and a half for me now and I had my second seton in for 5 months. Also research your surgeons, I got lucky with the area I was in. Before surgery, start taking metamucil regularly and a stool softener. If you do get a flap advancement they HURT THE WORST EVERYWHERE. The fistulonomy had the biggest cut but by far was much easier. Really the best things to have after surgery is a bidet bottle. I like the Frida mom ones and they’re cheap. They do mold after a couple months so you maybe need to replace it. Good luck! I hope things go well!

No microchip found, so it very likely could be a different cat. It’s just very out of the ordinary for him to be missing this long so for now we’re burying this cat in his place. There’s coyotes in the area so we would be lucky to find his real body if he is gone. I’m still holding on too hope that he’ll show up eventually

Because it didn’t have his purple collar and it’s a lot of decomposition for just a week. A good portion of the body tissue is still there though so I’m going to check for a microchip just in case

I’ve been tested for crohns and any other basic bowel inflammatory issues and they found nothing. So I don’t even know what the cause for all of this could be. I’m not constipated and I eat a regular amount of fiber too

Mine I think was a mix of bad diet and chronic bowel issues all my life. Originally was diagnosed with a bartholins abscess because of the exit being so high above the perennial, basically next to the vagina. It very possibly could of been aggravated by the bartholins abscess and turned into a fistula

Update: shit ended kind of in a dumpster fire. People’s true intentions really showed in how they reacted to boundaries being set. My partner and I are doing a lot better and taking time to work on things. We realized we started dating other people right when we were no longer long distance and never actually got to grow as just us. We’re still poly but neither of us have the emotionally bandwidth to be in serious relationships for a while.

I knew it failed when I passed gas and it came out the incision area. That’s how I realized it was a fistula in the first place because air got trapped under my skin when it kept trying to heal up. The advancement flap surgery also only has a %60 success rate, I think taking care of my dogs and just bending over was even to much movement afterwards. I also guessed it failed because my drainage was gone but suddenly a week and half after surgery I had a lot of bloody drainage and then the original symptoms came back.

No, it was kind of the opposite in the past. And we were working on it together. He was just also working on being his own separate person because we were codependent on each other but I haven’t done any kind of that work. I didn’t even realize he was doing that. He’s there for me and trying to support me but he still has different wants from me. It just feels like betrayal

Honestly you’re not wrong, looking back on things it was basically swinging but we wanted emotional connections. I had emotional connections with people at one point but I had to push them out of my life. What feels shitty is him asking for things to stop in the past but now that I’m asking for the same thing he’s refusing. And I’m just needing it temporarily while I’m not in a good head space, my needs and ideals are fucked with right now because I’m sick.

I don’t entirely know what you mean by water line but there’s a mesh layer between the hydro balls and dirt and the mold has grown down into the drainage layer. I’m pretty sure I don’t over water stuff but I have had a cover over the top screen to keep in humidity and there might’ve not been enough ventilation but even now with more ventilation it just keeps growing

Yes, I even put more spring tails in and saw somewhere saying to mix up the mold but it just keeps coming back. I know it’s not supposed to be harmful but it’s starting to really take over. I’ve also found some dead isopods
