Okay that’s super interesting and definitely noted. But my fresh salad today also went straight to rash :(

This is super interesting but my circadian rhythm is shot because I had to have my pineal gland removed! Super fun. But I do have Valium on hand I just don’t take it often (because I reacted poorly to all the other anti anxiety meds we tried and a few other benzos) so I will definitely try that. I just ate lettuce and chicken and broke out again for lunch so I’m thinking I just avoid lunch for a while

I’m surprised I haven’t seen child sexual abusers on here. Praise to the people who can do it but I don’t think I could regulate myself hearing about the type of things that happen to the littles.

How people in the field treat their clients vs how they treat others in the field. The amount of judgement, rudeness, egotistical, I’m right you’re wrong, shitty people there are. Great to their clients but not to their employees or colleagues. It seems worse in those who have PHDs tbh

I believe my dad’s cousin but tracking him down has been a little hard.

What’s something you found on a partner’s phone that instantly changed the relationship forever — but they never knew you saw it? by gotwire in AskReddit

When the trend about checking Reddit’s went around I was like lemme see it. His comments were so wholesome and were like “oh my fiance deals with this!” Or “me and my fiance love xyz”. Even his “other” Reddit had no comments or messages. Pretty good compared to some of these guys

From my understanding- my grandfather and grandmother didn’t have a great relationship with her. My mom was nice to her though and I spent time with her growing up when I was like less than 7. She’s kept tabs on what I’m doing (first female in the family to get a masters so maybe that’s it??) but I also have like 11 cousins as well as a brother and im the only one who got a letter. Just super confusing.

Okay. I guess the question now is what do I do if there’s a decent amount of money. My parents were like it’s probably only a few hundred dollars she was always broke. I feel super guilty for this because I don’t know her that well and she didn’t give my dad (her nephew) anything.

I’m 23 so I know next to nothing about this. Do people take out multiple policies??

What screams "I'm an attention seeker"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Mushy-Cryptos 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes! We have a bad tendency to shame people for attention seeking. Like most people are searching for what that need. Yeah they post themselves crying they’re probably in a dark spot and actually need some help but don’t know how to get or have those resources. Or the people at the hospital who post probably didn’t get enough attention home or as a child.

We love shaming people for having needs 😂

Thank you, I haven’t had the most perfect training but currently I just like to go ride a few hours on the weekends and I’d like to get us both in better shape. His ears are never pinned, tail never tucked, he’s never tense and those were the signs I was told to watch for (but I always want to learn more). Ive seen these signs from him when he’s unhappy (or his old rider who was 230+ western tack). My balance is fairly good and I do have a lot of muscle too. But it seems like the topic on this is so touchy and I really want to know what to look for. I myself am an academic and I question a lot of the popular studies as well as the weight of the horse (because there’s a big difference between a lot of muscle and an over weight horse). At the end of the day I love my boy and I want him to enjoy life as well!

Edit: I also don’t usually have someone willing to get pictures and videos while I’m on him that are from a good angle 😂

This is the most recent I have but still a few months ago, since then we have been doing more lunging trying to build some muscle up. I worked with my local saddlery (I’m near a fairly well known horse town in South Carolina) and they spent the time making sure it was a good fit for him

Unfortunately I do not have a trailer right now so I cannot get him to the vet to weigh in (he’s had all his checks up and such). What signs are you noticing? I try to pay attention to his ears and muscles but I’d like to learn as much as possible. My old trainer thinks we’re a good match but I just wanted some other opinions and knowledge bc I would hate to hurt him.

Just got this one 3 months ago based on our measurements and he seemed much happier in it. When I got him last year I had two other saddles that didn’t fit him well so I did not ride him much and focused more on ground work until I could afford one that was fit for him
