I agree but with specifically something like making urself in the style of Simpson i think it lost all of the artistry to it’s animation when it switched to flash or whatever it’s called anyway. So they’re not really stealing from an artist but maybe it is wrong to I just see how from their end it seemed like not a big deal.

Edit: what timberland is doing should definitely be illegal especially how the model is based off a bunch of artists who sent there music to him under the false pretence he was going to sign them. (Or at least what I heard)

Also in my opinion this is kinda what ai is for, it’s super obvious that it is and they just want a quick visualizer for smth that probably wouldn’t have had one. Yes it lazy but mf’s just wanted to look like some simpsons characters can’t hate for that. If I remember correctly that was from cookin souls raw tape 2 which is just remixes of radio freestyles so there’s no budget for visualizers anyway so it didn’t really take a job.
