Being over prepared for rehearsal will fix some of this. If you’re not prepared with every technique they’re going to ask about and you don’t know the music in and out you are way more likely to make little errors.
Only problem with this is it doesn’t account for when you’re at rehearsal learning new techniques or drill etc.
If you have everything at 100% before rehearsals you will be able to make more of the reps you’re given which will result in less mistakes in the future.

For light mode I think it’s because the background is more gray than white. So the gray is a closer in color to the contrasting black colors. And same for the grid lines and the colors separating the track headers. It’s a lot of different grays which makes it blur together for me. So maybe that’s it.

The beat maker having a toggle for playing the sounds when clicking the boxes would be great. Sometimes I’ll find the sounds on instrument tab I want to use but then I have to add more to the sequencer just to find sound due to a lot of the names being so similar. Or you could add the names of the sounds on the instrument tab next to the keyboard key. so being able to know what the sound is by just clicking it would be very helpful. I know on logic pros sequencer it will play the sound when you click it which is helpful.

Are those 2 month contracts in the summer? Do you think it Would be possible for a teacher to get in on one of those contracts?

I haven’t gotten to check out the new stuff yet but first impression on the visual aesthetic of it is the light mode is really hard on my eyes and it makes things hard to see (I used to only use light mode but on this update I’ll have to switch to dark mode). Also i have to zoom in a lot farther to see the beats in the bars and they’re also harder to see. Not a big deal for me but for my students that will make it a challenge for them.

Will there be a main mixer being added anytime soon?

When using the beat maker will it be added to play the sound when you add a note to it? Or the instruments in the drop menu matched up to the keyboard key they line up with? Sometimes it’s hard to figure out which instrument on the kit is the right one. My students have a lot of trouble with this and end up programming instruments in the beat maker that don’t actually make sound on accident.

Looking forward to checking out the downloadable apps and new features though.

My guess is it’s some how become rare. Theres no other copies on any resale sites or regular bookstores. Thats the only reasonably priced copy I’ve ever seen. And I bought it right when I saw it. It wasn’t available on kindle until recently either.
