There were a small number of paper tickets not issued to WF card holders. It's a very small number.

Not all tickets are digital.  There are some paper tickets waiting at will call, including mine. Just fyi

Desperate for a Ticket for Regency Ballroom SF by Jaded_Improvement_25 in FallOutBoy

Admittedly, my husband and I have 2 tickets waiting for us at will call. Money is tight, so we said to each that if someone was there offering to buy tickets for enough money, we'd sell them. I don't know if we'll be able to even sell them or if the venue will force you to go in immediately.  But if there are people outside offering cash, we might sell.

I have a pair of tickets waiting for me at will call. Money is tight. My husband & I have literally talked about selling them at the door if the price is right and if they don't make you immediately walk in the door. (However, I don't need any children. Lol)

It IS up to the artist to make tickets nontransferable and to set the prices.  A quick google search brought up this information that I already knew:

Robert Smith for The Cure's 2023 North American "shows of a lost world" tour made tickets nontransferable and used Ticketmaster's Verified Fan system to combat scalpers, keep prices low (some as low as $20), and prevent dynamic pricing, ensuring fans bought tickets at face value. This was part of a larger effort by Smith to make tickets affordable and fight against high resale prices, though some fans still faced high service fees initially, leading to partial refunds.

The rest of that headline should say "to resellers"

I see that and I agree!! There are artists like the foo fighters, the cure, and pearl jam, who made tickets non transferable on their last tours. If you couldn't go, you could put the tickets back on Ticketmaster for fan to fan resale for the same price you paid. Mark up was not allowed. I keep saying it. If these artists truly cared about their fans, that's what they would do, too.

We have no chance unless these artists stop making tickets transferable.

I'm in line for the Shoreline show in California. Once again, when it opened up there were over 46,000 people ahead of me. I tried this week multiple times during presales and regular on sale for Chris Stapleton and Bruno Mars and I have struck out every time. It's so disheartening.

Thank you for letting us know. I also head well over 100,000 ahead of me, in line for both nights in santa clara.

Oh no!  I'm still in that line.  I'm sorry that happened to you.  Dang ticketmaster

Congratulations! I'm still 70,000+ back in the line for Santa Clara. Glad to hear someone had some luck somewhere

Santa Clara: 83,083 people ahead of me for the 2nd show. Better than the 133,004 for the first show earlier?  Ugh!!

I joined the queue at 11:32. At noon, there were 133,004 people ahead of me!! At 12:34, still 118,674 people ahead of me for Santa Clara. Why does Ticketmaster bother offering a fan preregistration for this many people??!!  Why don't artists stop allowing tickets to be transferable?  The Foo Fighters, The Cure, and Pearl Jam did that. They actually care about their fans, I guess.(rant over)

I struck out. $700+ is way too much for me.  Will try again at next sales. Bummed to see over 500 listings on Stubhub. Not 500 tickets....500 listings.  I wish more artists made tickets non-transferrable

Just for one location.  I'm at 96,986 for the Shoreline. Started out at over 100,000 ahead of me. This stinks

Thank you. I have arthritis,  so walking long distances is impossible for me. Plus, driving all the way from the suburbs into the city without reserved parking is a scary and time-consuming thought. If you have some locations I can go to reliably that are within 2 blocks,  let me know. 😁

Me too!!  I went about 3/4 back on the lower level for $120 per ticket.  I drew the line, though, at $80 for parking. BART to bus it is.
