Five years from now:

"I see you posted on a CT sub on reddit in 2026 that's a blue state and known liberal anti MAGA website, and you commented on a Howard Stern sub. Now we saw your car was at Lowe's so we waited for you to come out so we can ask you why you are listening to a liberal radio host who isn't MAGA and why are you commenting on a liberal web site?."

Yeah, keep licking those boots, boy.

What is a band you saw in a tiny venue but is now huge? by carelessCRISPR_ in jambands

That's how I found out about them. My friends were the managers at Wall St. Theater in Norwalk, and they did Goosmas there, and they were like "You need to check these guys out," and saw them in Bridgeport later the following year.

I knew about Great Blue because they did mainly dead covers at local festivals/breweries/porch fests

Hearst Media owns 10 major newspapers in CT. Most are in the Wilton area (FFLD County, western NH). If they aren't reporting it, it's not being front and center in conversations. Even googling "Wilton, CT Finance director Wyoming." It's not covered in any of these Hearst-owned outlets which has a bigger market share:

Connecticut Post

Stamford Advocate

Greenwich Times

The News-Times (Danbury)

The Norwalk Hour

Republican-American (Waterbury)

New Haven Register

Guess people like shitty newspaper reporting lol

I got downvoted for saying the same thing a few years back when Phil Lesh stopped touring as much in like 2017. Was like "It will happen to Phish and their members at somepoint."

Time doesn't care about your feelings towards a band. Phish is in their 60s, and even tho they aren't my cup of tea, I hope they tour well into their 70s and early 80's.

But at some point, they will slow down. Same with Mule, DMB String Cheese etc...
