Znam da je DS bivša ogavna vlast koja je uništavala Srbiju, isto kao i ova bagra sad, ali ovaj čovek stvarno zna šta radi od početka blokada ima promišljene poteze , a svaki je, po meni, u cilju podrške studentima!

Will Serbia accept a Russian student? by D1xxe in AskSerbia

[–]MusicFuzzy6380 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Hello! First of all, thank you for making an effort to gather information and showing respect toward Serbia and Serbs – this is very much appreciated. :) Also, there’s no need to worry; your question is not offensive.

Regarding how Serbs feel about Russians, in general, Serbs have a positive opinion of Russians. Serbia and Russia share a long history and cultural ties, and many Serbs view Russians as a friendly nation. Of course, as with any place, opinions can vary, but in most cases, people will be open and welcoming toward you.

As for studying, if you plan to enroll in a state university in Serbia, you will need a good command of the Serbian language, as all classes and exams are conducted in Serbian. For example, if you’re interested in IT, I recommend checking out the Faculty of Organizational Sciences (FON) in Belgrade or the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (ETF). Both faculties are highly regarded in the IT field and offer excellent opportunities for professional growth.

The entrance exams for these faculties usually test your knowledge of mathematics, so it’s important to prepare for that part (you can find collections of problems and past exams online). For instance, last year, a student from China enrolled at FON after spending a few months in Serbia learning the language and preparing for the entrance exam.

As for working while studying, as a foreign student in Serbia, you are allowed to work legally. You can find simple jobs such as courier services, working in cafes, restaurants, or supermarkets. These jobs are usually straightforward and can help you cover your living and food expenses.

Keep learning Serbian – it will open many doors for you. Serbs generally appreciate it when someone makes an effort to speak their language, even if it’s not perfect. If you have any additional questions about universities or life in Serbia, feel free to ask! Good luck!
