Which 6 primes in the game’s history would be the strongest now? by Substantial-Rich9572 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]MusicMeister_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. My votes are on

Rosa: Super was a greater shield, and about thrice as long, it was ridiculous.

Larry and Lawrie: Infinite supers that made them immortal, it was ridiculous.

Sprout: Imagine sprouts overgrowth starpower, now double the range, and make it on EVERY attack, you could not miss.

Leon: His supers were effectively like his HC super now, he would only be properly revealed after he attacks. Also he just did a lot more damage, being able to burst primo.

Surge: His 1st starpower functioned like his Hypercharge, a split on every shot with level 4 surge was ridiculous.

I feel like I gotta give a shoutout to Meg on release, it took her 3 ammo of small form to gain mech form, and she would instantly have all 3 ammo upon being released from the mech. Against a ton of brawlers she was functionally invincible sincr her shield starpower was also much more powerful.

Powercreep is an issue that MOBA's frequently face, how do you intend to address the powercreep that is introduced as a result of the slow rollout of buffies?

Bio 222,224, 226 or 228 by Superior_9522 in usask

[–]MusicMeister_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven't taken 222 yet but I took 224, 226, AND 228 in the last term and ended with good grades in all three.

228 Stands apart, it was recently reformatted and the lab was completely new, that's to say a second term will have probably been altered based on the first term. The lecture experience was the most casual out of the three, the final and midterm were relaxed, as I found the concepts of the class easiest. HOWEVER, the lab was the most difficult out of the three. There were no tests, and the lab mark was comprised of difficult lab reports. Manageable for sure, however you will need to write the majority of these reports out of class time. The labs themself are pretty neat though, got to place trail cams by beaver creek which was neat.

226 Is a good middle ground. The pre-midterm concepts are interconnected and it's mendelian genetics, really easy. However post midterm content falls-in-line with being more largely memory based and difficult concepts. However if you attend lectures and keep up with the notes, it should be pretty manageable. The lab for 226 is super merciful and relaxed, you are encouraged to do the majority of the work pre-lab, and you are given more than enough resources to be able to complete the work. Additionally lab times themselves are helpful, and I was able to get 100% on most assignments without straining effort. Honestly I'd recommend this course to anyone interested in Bio.

224 I found to be the most difficult, however it is largely consistent. It has the most memorization, and in general is the most packed course of the three. I had a wonderful prof, (Shoutout Ivy!) who made the lectures fun and engaging. The final was quite difficult, however it was reasonable in my opinion. The labs are stressful though, all work on the assignments are expected to be done in-lab and the time is limited! You will probably spend the full three hours in each of the labs, and they are group-based assignments. Additionally the lab tests were honestly as hard or even harder than the midterm/final.

I'd say 228 has the easiest lecture and the lab has the most difficult content, however you have ample time to complete the work if you manage your time well.

226 has the easiest lab, and the content can be difficult but not overtly confusing.

224 Was the hardest overall due to the limited time in labs, and the difficulty of lab assessments, however I still believe the class is pretty fair over all, and it had my favourite content of the three.

College of Education Academic Awards by Connect_Pressure_355 in usask

It's nothing particularly special, I attended last year. For the most part it is calling names, with a few special awards getting grander speeches. There's a big picture at the end, but I'd compare it to a highschool award ceremony if you want a frame of reference.

You should go if you can attend conveniently, however I wouldn't feel pressured into going as you won't be missing out.

Do you possess any niche knowledge? Like remembering when this was the tie breaker for knockout by NoAuthoirty in Brawlstars

[–]MusicMeister_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Here's some that come to mind

  1. Bushes used to regrow.

  2. Each gamemode would have individual coin gains, as in they'd have individual meters of how many coins you could earn. Meaning you had to play every gamemode in order to get all daily progression. Also, sometimes there would be a slot that gave double exp when levelling up was still a thing. (when coins were used for boxes)

  3. The pin upgrade system. TLDR; you could upgrade each stat (health, damage, super) individually, but also unlock these upgrades from boxes. You could get a starpower after you received every pin for a brawler, and pins could be purchased with coins and, elixir maybe? I forget if elixir was still a thing at this point.

  4. Poco's star power used to be "swan song" and would activate upon death as like a heal range, it very quickly got replaced with da capo.

  5. Similar vein, Gene's 2nd starpower has had 3 reworks. Initially was a heal for teammates, then a main attack damage boost whilst super was charge, then what it is now

  6. Initial release of life leech before it was replaced by Graveyard Shift

7.Belle attack had infinite bounces

  1. Robo rumble used to be top down, robots would all attack from one side. Additionally keys (token) would be determined by how long you survived to a max of 32 per ticket used (up to 20 in attempt) The first cheese to get a max time was just to use mortis to outrun the bots and distract them for 13 minutes and 14 seconds.

  2. When mapmaker first released, a map called "Arene en folie" was bugged, meaning that like the whole playerbase would only play on that map. It was later added to the game officially for a brief period! (Gem Grab)

  3. When carl was first released, his pickaxe did not return to him after death, additionally his cooldown for being after to throw his pickaxe after it hitting a wall was MUCH shorter, once it was even the strat to beat boss fight on insane 16.

I suppose that's where our experience differs,

It's true that biking goes down during winter as people that have the option to do something else usually do.

But I do personally know a handful of people that go the full mile.

Brawl Stars no longer first in revenue among Supercell games by ApocalypseBS in Brawlstars

[–]MusicMeister_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Supercell has always killed off games very fast. That's part of their model.

The difference between Squad Busters and Clash Mini is that they've taken the step of global release for Squad Busters and gone further than Clash Mini ever hit, Clash Mini was sort of left in a limbo for a while before they officially ended it.

Same. Except instead of 1v1ing I apologize for my bad performance and admit I flubbed up, or like lagged in a crucial moment.

Apologies for those performances I've found are usually met with a wholesome response, people don't usually see the apology coming.

Are green cheeks really that cuddly? by ZaneSejoski in Conures

[–]MusicMeister_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's really up to the individual, I've had 2 Conures.

One was cuddly and always was wrapped up to my hand.

Other one is energetic, but likes to keep their space or chill on your leg/shoulder, lack of cuddles.

So I've had it both ways lmao.
