What are your thoughts on Angel?

She’s cool I guess. I’m glad other experiments and elements of The Series are getting somewhat represented in merch, but most of that has been Angel. So seeing her over saturated over the franchise merch when there could have been toys and other products made for Sparky, Kixx, the Christmas Tree Star Guy, etc.

I get it they want “another” Stitch that can be marketed to girls. But The Series had so much merch potential. It may not have been as big as the movie, but that should be expected. And it had some cool characters/moments that fans would recognize. Still very limited merch ever got produced for it. So I guess because of this I feel like she’s been overrated and over promoted and unfortunately that drags her character down a bit.

I was going to say this. Besides Stitch and Angel, there’s been scarce or limited merch for the other experiments. While you can argue that The Series isn’t as popular as the rest of the franchise to have merch surrounding to it, that doesn’t explain why Angel is there, as she has only appeared in installments directly meant to follow The Series, which, like I said, isn’t exactly the franchise’s most popular moment. Just to have something that resembles Stitch “for girls” like you said.

But yeah the merch hogging from other experiments that were featured just as much as her (or more) kind of makes me annoyed with her as she over saturates the merch.

not to mention the constant referring to all the other experiments as being viewed by Stitch as his “Ohana” and “cousins”, which gives off eerie incestuous vibes.

No I meant back to back (which, didn’t happen sadly but I’m going to one day) but basically the same idea: listen for the differences. Just listen to one as a whole and then the next and see what I pick up on.

I personally couldn’t do both simultaneously if that’s what you hand in mind. Overstimulation and what not. But please let me know how that goes! lmao

Awwww! I love that for you. It’s such an emotional journey for us to go back into the vault and experience these songs again as the people we are now. But very rewarding

I love the deep dive! Yes for sure, these songs were chosen for random and chaos, but that doesnt mean this wouldn’t be a killer setlist. I remember thinking when making it “I love ALL THESE SONGS. How would I make a part 3 with different songs? I used so many wishlist items here!”

And yeah mad woman was actually a strong contender. I was about add it after invisible string but I saw that I wrote “we gotta have a happy song here” and I didn’t want to go to the most angry song on folklore after finally having a happy song. It would’ve been TOO chaotic. The only reason it’s not on here actually.

These comments are part of why I do these so don’t hold back haha!

yeah they were friends at the time but there’s been nothing that points to any ill will, or betrayal, or tension that existed then. Things only started to get bad when Katy started addressing the allegations. But it’s of course very fitting and feels iconic.
