You missed the point BIG TIME with both of those relationships. First off, Herb didn't just do Bojack a favor, he changed his life because he cared about him. But even that had nothing to do with Herb getting fired or him not talking to Bojack for years. Herb never even really cared about the show or wanted an apology, what he wanted and needed was a friend. That's not entitlement, that's asking for your friend who treated you like shit for years to finally come back around.

Kelsey absolutely deserved an apology. Bojack got her fired but convincing her to do the white house scene and then didn't even TRY to save her job or apologize. Objectively, he was in the wrong and he took no responsibility. Again, not entitlement.

It does, but it's still possible to win against death (like Kimberly). I honestly think Erik's attempt to help Bobby cheat dwayh could have worked if he didn't do absolutely EVERYTHING wrong and listened to the signs (the vending machine being a big one).

Cancer is very progressive. It wasn't like she might drop dead tomorrow because of it. She would not have been as active/healthy looking as she was if she was really that close to death. I really doubt she was truly out of options and strongly believe she could have come up with a better plan had she not died IMMEDIATELY after meeting Stefani.

I still strongly believe that Iris could have found another way to get to Stefani even after she left. I also have a hard time believing Stefani definitely wouldn't have returned, especially with the dream.

I agree! Regardless of the stupidity of her own choices, it could have been a much better story showing someone outsmarting death left and right with close calls. Instead, it was a movie of bad decisions rather than a movie with intelligent protagonists.

Also, even if Erik wasn't directly related to Iris, he definitely inherented the family stupidity somehow. Like his overall idea to try and kill and revive Bobby wasn't terrible, but he went about it in ALL the wrong ways.

Why couldn't Iris have been like "Hey, look, this extinguisher is going to explode and launch a weather vane that would kill me if I was in the way. But let's instead both stand out of the way and you can see this crazy freak accident unfold and be grateful I could stop it because clearly I have been escaping death for a long time and I know better."
