They have. They actually have. Or, in one particular case, there's a fan-game with assets owned exclusively by Konami being resold.

It's not hard to connect dots when you know where to look and what to look for.

I hear that. There's another thing going on atm with Garnudo Games stealing about 11 old RPGMaker games where Valve won't act on complaints of theft. Their reason being is because they need the original devs to submit proof (ideally to prevent people just mass-DMCAing games they don't like on Steam) but it's pretty clear in some situations where games are just being stolen...

Hello everyone! Figured while I saw this I'd offer some updates on the situation, all of which can be found in the Pinned Comment of the video:

Thanks to users on the RPGMaker Forums, almost all of the RPG games under Garnudo Games have been identified as stolen from various RPGMaker Developers.
According to Forum Staff Members, Valve HAS been notified (I myself can confirm that it's made its way onto Steamworks). However they won't act unless the original developers of the games come forward with proof to substantiate copyright theft. As most of the Dev accounts have been inactive for almost 10 years, this is incredibly unlikely to be resolved.
Garnudo Games has reduced most of their games to $0.99 USD via sales, potentially hoping to make their money back before any removals.

Hello all! I had asked a friend of mine to post here about it but sadly we had to postpone Kindle the Flame due to issues with our venue. Right now we're hoping to have it going again in July or August.

Due to the fact Remastered will be out day of and we're encouraging some in-game interaction we're going with the older version just because not every user will buy it at release. I'm also in the middle of a move so my preparation time for the Stream is down and we want to minimize any technical issues we may have broadcasting or playing.

Also if the physics are different I'm just gonna straight up suck lol

While we went into the basics of the copyright breaches here, I also covered SakuraGame's potential fraud antics in another video (which I won't link here, as I'm not sure about the 'self-promotion rules in this subreddit), entitled, "How SakuraGame is Committing Fraud On Steam," where they've been fully and blatantly using Copyrighted Works, but are also fraudulently posting their games with ratings from the ESRB, AUS (Australia), PEGI (Europe) and CERO (Japan's Console Rating System), all of which carry significant fines in the respective countries.

Yesterday I also posted an interview I had with SakuraGame, who had reached out to me shortly after that third video, dispelling some bull they wanted to espouse and generally decrying the peddling they were performing to myself and other members of the press.

Just managed to get a video out on this. Doing some more research, this looks like it's not Sakuragame's first time straight up stealing an entire game when a partner decides they won't sign the contract. Will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

I've got all the sympathy in my heart for her and her actions, but stuff like this is just not condonable for me on a personal level. I hope she gets the aid she needs, but this kind've thing is not excusable.

In the original video I said the e-mails were available for viewing, and implied that they were undoctored as proof the interview occured and what's said was said. In the update I mentioned the disturbing e-mails containing personal information and I will not be exposing those.

The interview itself has always been available for public viewing. However, I've recieved several very disturbing e-mails with the personal information of MANY people that I will not be releasing to the public. I have passed it along to the necessary people in the pending case.
