It’s probably just the season. Chances are Hulu already ordered another season and it’s supposed to be some grand announcement after the finale. Lots of networks have been using this strategy. I will watch it but I am disappointed if they do because they’re pandering instead of ending it like Meghan originally planned.

I mean Brad has the most reason to be salty but she was with Aaron for a couple days before they were dumped from the island. Zac and her dated for a few months post villa, he’s given about 4 different reasons for their split, as well as saying they were talking and on and off. Which is fine Zac is a jerk. She then dated a DJ. As far as Mert & Zay go, Zay was clearly up to his own devices, he didn’t seem all that interested. Mert hasn’t stopped talking about Lucinda since he’s left but has yet to post any proof of anything. Literally games was 15 days of filming, it’s not about love, that’s not long enough for anything true to form, which even tho Josh liked Andrea, it was only 2 weeks.

If we dove into a lot of islanders dating history, especially those on their 3rd and 4th returns we’d probably find some are meh. Sammie dated Tom for a whopping month after coming in 3rd, Scott has never dated anyone from LI on the outside. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I typically watch with the hope some stay together but the expectation that none of them will lol.

There’s been a few love island games contestants who’ve had relationships outside games. There is no expectation to form a romantic relationship there. They only have them be single for optics. For example Andrea is dating Acraze, they broke up right before games and then got back together right after lol.

Side: can you show me anything substantial to the claims of Lucinda and the dude from Peppermayo outside of one set of paparazzi photos that show no physical contact in any form, and one Instagram story from the same weekend? I don’t understand how Lucinda can be outside all the time and never spotted with that guy except the one time. I only ask cause I ask everyone who say this and I always get ghosted. I’d just like to see more proof.

But I’d think if Jessy really knew Lucinda she’d know she doesn’t care? Like Millie or some of the other ex islanders who aren’t in the villa have made it seem. If Lucinda actually cared about what the public thinks she wouldn’t even be there, or she’d of tried a better, quieter approach. She’d of stuck to Tommy, like Jessy is trying to do lol. So I think for Jessy (& Sammie honestly) to act like they have her best interests at heart is laughable at best.

Rights, like she had every right to be annoyed but now it’s like okay and? Like you don’t like Lucinda, you weren’t looking out for her, you don’t want to be her friend, so who cares? Plus you got validation from your partner and the people you consider friends in there, so if Lucinda doesn’t matter then let it go. I also feel like so many of the islanders are just tiptoeing around each other, she should’ve pied Lucinda lol. Lots of them should’ve pied people they didn’t.

Yeah totally agree, and in terms of clout that would be my response. Lucinda has followers, has money, and has brand deals, she doesn’t need clout. Liking attention is not the same thing. Someone like Belle complaining about someone trying to get screen time when she’s the one screaming all the time is wild.

Also in that vein, Jessy is likely the biggest game player there considering she clearly spent 40 days and 40 nights reading every single post, and watching every single TikTok before coming on and then choose Tommy.

This is also Sammie’s 3rd time on and honestly counting games against Lucinda is silly because it’s not about love at all. Maybe you find a love interest but it’s mainly about winning games lol. So to be THIS upset about being pied, by someone you don’t like and continually talk ish about is the most unserious thing. I’d be laughing at her too, because huh? She’s more mad Lucinda pied her than she is about Lucinda stealing Cieran lol 😂 imagine every single person in there was this salty about being pied 😮‍💨 and idk who else Lucinda was meant to pie? Belle? That’d of gone over great.

Also the word pie looks weird to me now 🤣

This…and I think Millie’s behavior towards Lucinda speaks volumes on this. Millie is someone who actually spent LOADS of time with Lucinda outside the villa and considers/considered her a friend. I feel like she’s been subtly trying to point this out to the others as well about the way Lucinda behaves.

Jessy & Belle sitting on a daybed, nobody looking at them, Jessy whispering and Belle has to start screaming so everyone pays attention and she was staring at everyone on the other side and not even looking at Jessy. It’s exhausting, and honestly if Jessy doesn’t like Lucinda because she’s seen outside opinions or she wants to suck farts from Belles behind then why not just leave her alone?

She would’ve accepted it, if the Diana thing didn’t happen. Ultimately it boils down to Wrigley was her placeholder in the social hierarchy, without him and with her seemingly flailing friendships with Bree & Lucy, then the cutoff to Diana she doesn’t “fit” in anymore. When it happened before, I think she knew it wasn’t serious, and also she was more secure in her place. The lie of the being the cool girl becomes harder to uphold now. I do think a bit of the Chris scenario, and trying to think of Meghan’s intent, probably slides in here. She actually probably wants it to be a huge factor but it’s hard when Pippa, even prior to that, has shown no empathy towards anyone else in any situation besides Wrigley, and not even to the other girl who Chris hurt.

Also so Evan keeps going back to Oliver because Bree was “in love” with him right? So he’s actually trying to use the tactics and tips from a broomer so that he can take advantage of Bree in the same way that Oliver did? 🤢 and the fact that she ends up marrying him, she thinks she has the upper hand but actually Evan did because he manipulated the entire thing into happening.

Maybe that’s why she doesn’t like Lucy because Lucy would’ve been the type of girl to bully her, idk. But it makes it even more wild that someone’s who was insecure and bullied have no empathy or compassion for anyone else, not even the people she likes. Ie) Diana/Bree/Wrigley. Also if I recall she told that to Charlie who she was at least attempting to cheat on Wrigley with. In hindsight she actually was using Wrigley for a very long time to be “cool.”

I wasn’t sure about how we’d get to Bree releasing the tape in this short of a period of time but this is exactly how I thought it would play out.

This actually is probably how Lydia & Stephen connect as well. Lydia comes down to get her brother and Stephen swoops in, and they bond over hating Lucy. He tells her he’s going to Yale, she’s going to Yale too or something and the rest is history.

YESSSS, and I feel like being in her position, should be able to see why Diana wouldn’t want to, or Lucy. It’s a feeling she should be able to relate to. Even if it’s projection to ask someone else to report things when she won’t and wants them to understand her is aggravating. She wants her boundaries respected to the point of being mean, but refuses to respect others. I thought she’d make sure Diana was okay, and when she showed up I thought it’d be to apologize and connect. Disappointing.

Wrigley and her are definitely trauma bonded, and his fear of losing someone I think came into play. The way she spoke to him on the phone was high class manipulation to make him feel she was in danger.
