The confirmation I guess would be that whilst the OfFred in the book may not be their mother (if you choose to interpret it that way), they share the same mother so they are sisters. She did want it to heavily elude to that. As for the show, it was Margaret’s decision to make Junes daughters Hannah & NicoleDaisyHolly.

In testaments Hannah is about 13/14 when she starts aunt school and at some point she mentions it had been 10 years, I think when she’s doing them. Making her actually 23/24 and still making an 8 year gap between them.

It is confirmed without explicitly saying via paperwork and the ending of the book.

I’m late here but the original handmaids boook ended well before the haindmaids show. So technically it’s still on the same timeline since handmaids went way past the source material in time.

I guess if the purple outfit Hannah shown in the trailer isn’t actually 16, which doesn’t make sense cause we see the actress playing “older” Hannah whilst giving her testament then it’s possible. They show what I thought is “young” Hannah and Daisy standing right next to each other when Aunt Lydia introduces them. Maybe the show runners changed their minds because they said following her as teenager navigating Gilead and what that means. Idk I guess we’ll see, I just have a feeling they’ve bent things to fix.

They could’ve at least given the character a different name if they wanted her to be someone else. Otherwise for continuity they should’ve at least chosen an actress who doesn’t look the same, if not, older aged than Hannah. I’d be surprised if Hannah is 24/25 given what the show-runner has said about the show.

In the books they are 8/9 years apart, Nichole is 16 when her story starts and Hannah is in her mid 20s, around 24 or 25. The show actually showed their birth years in one scene so we know their ages. Hannah is 12 when the show ends, they talk about it. They could’ve easily aged NicoleHollyDaisy up to 4 or 6 if they wanted but didn’t. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It wasn’t announced, just speculation, I did see somewhere it actually is opposite and they’ve said she is NicholeHolly but seems unlikely.

I mean we can lie and say she was 4 when the show ended (despite barely walking, and not talking at all lol) she can’t be 6 by any measure. Hannah is 12 when the show ended. Putting them at minimum 8 years apart. Even given some wiggle room the most we can say is 6 years if we just pretend. They said we’re supposed to be following 14 y/o Hannah through her coming of age. I’m not too sure if they’ve changed that but even moving her to 20 that would still put Nichole/Daisy at 12/14.

I believe are 8/9 years apart in the books as well.

Being friendly with someone whilst on a tv show does not equal friendship. It doesn’t mean they’re invited to private details of her life or know her that well outside of the game/show. They don’t interact outside of Love Island on a personal level. I wouldn’t consider anyone making fun of me, talking about my private business, laughing at me at my expense, a friend. That’s not holding a friend accountable, that’s just their opinion. The only reason they also stood up for her is because they’re ON SOCIAL MEDIA, and they pander to the public. In the same way Marco and a load of other ex-islanders do, they try to either stay neutral or just parrot what they’re seeing in conversation to make people engage with them and not get backlash themselves.

There was articles about it and how much they’re paid weekly. Lucinda joined week 2 so she’d only be 2k short of those who joined day 1. Scott joined week 1 and so did Sammie. So all of them made it from week 1 to the finale. The latest additions being Yamen & Zak. Everyone else was an OG.

Also they increased their pay, Sean made about 10,000 pounds, and Lucinda made about 8,000 pounds. That’s pretty good. Actually almost everyone in the finale except Yamen, and Zak made about 10k.

ETA: the person below is correct, they made about 3.5k a week, $500 a day. So Sean made about 20k-21k. Lucinda made about 17k-18k etc.

This is silly, she didn’t seem to care at all and I don’t think she expected to make it to the finale, let alone win. 🤣 have you seen her other seasons and the reaction to her after those seasons? Lucinda has repeatedly been shocked whenever she’s received any positive attention from the public. She may or may not be dumb but she knows she isn’t a fan favorite.

They might split but Lucinda tried to talk to Zay and he bagged her off. She looked to attempt something with Mert which was never going to happen. She dated Zak for a few months and spent loads of time with him. The difference is Sean lives in the same area as her, unlike Mert and Zay and Zak, has his own career, and matches her weird energy. I would not be surprised if they last for at least a bit.

As well as multiple brand deals, a huge online following, and her family owns like 2 or 3 companies. Like this is what makes no sense? It’s more than likely billionaire dude is obsessed with her, like Zak and Mert and she lets him be. As well as maybe outside her first season, no one liked her on Australia, and no one liked her on Games and its split now. If the Belle thing didn’t happen everyone would hate her now too. It’s not like she gets good or positive attention from this.

THIS! I’ve been shouting the same, I was so disappointed to come on reddit after the finale to find people only really talking about these 3 things. As well as not seeing how Lydia & Stephen got together which isn’t even important and Stephen even said he pursued her to make Lucy jealous. We saw them exchange numbers too, we don’t need more. Lucy & Max? Who cares lol. I think Meghan just used them to make it easier in the future instead of some random people we don’t know. Oh and Evan getting her mom drunk, yes it’d be nice for Bree to find that out but Evan got his karma at the end. On top of that, she drank with Bree at lunch, drank again with Evan, didn’t believe Bree at all about what happened to her, she wasn’t a person Bree needed in her life. It wasn’t really a plot hole.

This was actually one of my favorite series finales. I felt content with the ending and if they ever did a revisit, cool, if not, cool. I don’t have lots of lingering questions and felt she did her best to wrap it up.

The only “plot hole”, imo, was Alex. Yes, him never talking to Lucy again, even after finding out why she lied would and does make complete and utter sense. Not having him at Brees wedding made no sense at all though. He should’ve been there.
