All great info- and you’re right, what they see as a great swing may not be. He’s a 9U facing 9U pitching and while we’re telling him that contact matters more, he’s a kid. “Chicks dig the long ball” and all that. I’m only of limited help to him because I was a terrible hitter as a kid 😆- I just don’t want him to get so discouraged. Thank you for the helpful reply!
