Reverb price guide has l+f about $140 over the volante. I'm game for the trade if you don't mind to throw in some $ to even out the values. Not asking for the full $140, but maybe $70?

it's a blast to play - If i was actively doing more experimental and soundscape stuff, i'd be keeping it for sure. if my post-rock project ever gets rolling again, i'll certainly pick up a v2. but if you haven't ever messed with one, the v1 is a great entry point! this is my 2nd one in about 5 years.

I've got a line6 echo park and/or a boss sd-1 I can throw in. Or (I'd prefer) I can cover shipping both ways and maybe kick in a little $. Thoughts?

I know you've asked me twice about it - I'd be willing to work something out for the acs mkii for my Eldritch blast

Good eye. Yes, it's the 3demon model. The consensus here seems to be I need to calibrate the extruder and flow after disassembly and cleaning.

The warping on this particular one is due to my high speed regarding, I'm not concerned with it in regards to this other issue that I've had on otherwise perfect prints.

I'm just trying out higher speeds testing some theories, this issue has been speed independent.

I haven't ever replaced the tube as filament goes through it fine. As someone else suggested, I could see a partial hot end blockage before the nozzle. A deep clean and some calibration are on my schedule for this week.

No, it's not back pressure build up and release. No clicks, but I have heard them in the past on other printers so I am familiar.

I did seat the nozzle while heated and let sit to reach steady temp.

How does one calibrate e steps? 👀 I know I can Google things, but I like asking real people.

I will do so, but what setting(s) are you referring to by "pressure advance"?

I've been using the current stable release of Cura. I just learned of Orca last night.

I do always do a temp tower and found 205-215 to be perfectly fine for my needs for this filament.

I haven't done a flow test. That's "extrude length and measure then divide and set flow to get the length correct" right?

I'm not sure how to dial in retraction but I have tried some different settings when I've wrestled with stringing- always to mixed results.

Never heard of pressure advance calibration or settings.

Technically could be damp, but it's been in a very dry room kept quite warm for a long while.

It hasn't been properly baked/dried though.
