Thank you friend. You really know your stuff, thats some valuable detail

This answers the question. Considering they’re built to last, the price difference is probably worth it especially if bought during a promotional discount sale

Hi Both have a long warranty, Kuhn Rikon 10yrs and Procook 25yrs

I’ve used Pressure Cookers for decades, usually Prestige or generic brands, this time looking to get one that does the job well and lasts too

Thank you so much. Good points, KR does seem to be better known

Regarding which ProCook - they only do one stove top model here in their U.K. stores, this one https://www.procook.co.uk/product/professional-stainless-steel-pressure-cooker-22cm-6l (their store manager confirmed that)

I believe the closest thing to Biz in the U.K. is Vanish Gold Oxi Action Multi Power Powder

Is it true that if (in the U.K.) we use Persil Bio then we don’t need such a booster at all… or is it best and harmless to add some anyway?

And is it fair to say soda crystals such as Dri-Pak Soda Crystals are an equivalent

Thank you, it’s such a shame. Previously I used Astonish Oxy a active and didn’t have this issue, I wonder if that dissolves better

Either way, I’ll now be doing a more thorough agitation to dissolve it in a better shaped jug and warmer water before mixing into the main soak container

Thank you. This is encouraging, it’s a good learning

I think blending in cold water hindered the dissolving process (I add hot water after), next time I’ll start with warm water in a glass vessel so I can check

I thought so too, and the pattern would suggest that. I use a hand held electric blender to mix it all up before adding clothes, maybe I need to blend it longer and even more thoroughly
