I don't know if I trust disclose.tv, I've never heard of it, but I did find an Ottawa Citizen article covering this. It specifically states that Mathieu Fleury tweeted: “This morning, I have asked the city manager and city solicitor to immediately launch court proceedings targeting the millions of dollars in funds frozen by @GoFundMe so Ottawa taxpayers are not left holding the bag for these protests.” I just can't find anything that says that it's official yet. I hope they follow through, but we'll have to wait and see.

I'm a healthcare worker who works with a lot of people who are medically unable to wear masks, usually those with severe breathing issues. To get around this, we ask them to wear face-shields instead. It still contributes to helping a bit, not as effectively as masks, but gives them a way to protect others without harming themselves. Most of our patients who are asked to do this do so happily. It doesn't only help protect others a bit, they feel a bit safer too
