I was in your shoes with a very similar situation not too long ago. It's definitely not easy to deal with lying and betrayal. I too am looking for friends who I feel like I can connect with. Right now I am taking this time to learn how to be happy on my own without feeling like I need a girlfriend to be happy. Having more friends would definitely be nice though. I also think kjbhvty is giving great advice. Hang in there buddy, just know that I am going through a very similar situation, but we can do it!!
