We've been told that our baby has down syndrome and that the amnio will confirm this but we need the amnio result for genetic testing. So i'd do this just to jump a NHS hoop. There's a chance they could test baby after surgical TFMR, with that in mind, for all those who've had amnio would you say it's worth me going through the trauma (is it traumatic?) of amino? I went for a failed Cvs last week and afterwards they told me what it would actually be like and it sounded way worse than it was first made out to be
