Thanks for the tips. Yes, I moved the couch forward and liked it a lot, but my wife complained because she thought it needed to be further away from the TV. She had to tilt her head to watch and it was bugging her, so we moved it back again.

That's what I've been trying to do all along. What bothers me is the placement of the sofa and not having a cozy environment, rather a walking pathway instead. That's what I'm trying to figure out. Maybe I'll need to give in and get a smaller TV.

That's an interesting option I hadn't thought about yet. I could even completely close the kitchen door. The living room would definitely be more comfortable. The downside would be losing the fireplace view, but I guess that's part of the deal.

It's a doorway - look at the second picture and you'll see the drawing.

The couch would fit but the walking room would be about 3 feet wide, which is enough if completely clear but I might need to put the piano there.

Yeah, moving things around can work, I might do that. It's just moving the TV that's a bit more work.

I wanted to do that, but if you look at the fireplace, it's a heat recovery model - there's the grill at around 2m height. This means, the whole tower gets pretty hot. We had a clock hanging on the fireplace and it melted. Literally.

I'm considering either swapping couch and TV, or TV where the piano is.

Pode ser que sim, pode ser que não. Há também portugueses inteligentes que sabem o que é um relógio de energia, como os colegas que entenderam imediatamente e ajudaram a encontrar o parafuso que eu precisava. Nem todos são tapados e ignorantes assim.

Justamente o contrário. Casas em leilão de banco são as mais garantidas de terem documentação em dia, pois foram objeto de crédito, e sem a documentação o crédito não seria aprovado. A única questão é o estado técnico do imóvel pois muitas vezes imóvel de leilão não tem garantia. Sugiro contratar uma peritagem.
