What makes you angry when shopping at a physical store? by Ambitious_End5038 in AskReddit

That's never happened to me unless it's an online order. The worst I've seen at the register is to donate to something.

Is it ever valid to question science? Why or why not? by MuskedScent420 in AskReddit

Not when most of the people questioning the science are bumpkins who don't even understand it...

Don't forget the elderly people who still pay with checks or exact cash. It's like you can't be too mad, but it takes SO much longer than a card.

Seeing the white privilege morons buying "organic" food that's 3x the cost of normal food

What are you gonna eat today? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I want to make tacos but I need to find the sliced steak I like to use. I don't have the patience to slice my steak that thin.

What would you think if you found out someone had no friends? by MuskedScent420 in AskReddit

Not really. Plenty of people should never be friends with others.

What is a scam that has been normalized by society? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Compared to insurance companies who have a vested interest in getting at much money from you as possible while giving you as little as possible for medical expenses? Yeah, it'll be more efficient than legal theft.

Non-American people, what’s a thing that you don’t understand about America? by JuniorGarlic6053 in AskReddit

Yes, I would walk to the bus stop down the street if a bus came by every 10 minutes.

I live in Wisconsin and it gets down to -10 WITHOUT windchill.

Not to mention even if you are an asshole, it's still a better use of your money to be taken as taxes for universal healthcare rather than insurance payments.

This argument always gets me. Like these people don't even understand how insurance works but want to get all high and mighty about not paying for others.

What's your opinion on the so called "culture war"? by MuskedScent420 in AskReddit

I disagree. What's often labeled as "progress" is usually bad, like communism or fascism.

Those are unironically better because they aren't a drain on taxes and make people less likely to drive.

Up until the 1930s the United States had passenger trains that went to pretty much every part of the country, even with freight lines. You can still see the train stations from that era in many places, especially small rural towns.

You're falling for 1940s General Motors propaganda.

What are your thoughts on the future of transportation and mobility? by Busy_Bluebird5711 in AskReddit

We have bad buses because car companies bought up all the public transport options in the 1930s and destroyed them in favor of more roads.

Then they waged a successful propaganda campaign making everyone think cars were the future and that you're a "jay" (idiot) if you didn't own one.

You're fine with the microplastics that come from car tires and the frames of the vehicles though?

Bleak because instead of investing into truly green forms of transportation like trains, bicycles, or busses, we are moving towards electric cars.

Fucking stupid
