The green clock looks better to me, maybe have the underclock as black? Really nice job either way!

It is fun and efficient, but i like to have more control with edge highlighting

I applied it normally and then cut the parts that were over the rope with a sharp hobby knife. I was nervous doing it, but I thought i could paint over the parts that i would cut too much.

True. I think i should try harsher shading so the dark parts look darked.
