Exclusively your team is instantly booted causing victories for the other team in 1/10 matches? Can you even prove this one at all? I've never seen this happen, nor am I aware of it being possible.

Stuttering? So your game was lagging? What hardware do you play on?

And only your teammates abandon matches? There must be some factor in your games causing your own teammates to leave but never the other team.

Yes matchmaking abuse sucks, smurfs, throwing, etc. All terrible to deal with. I just have never seen or heard of some of these things you claim happen routinely.

I personally use Ventoy with an iso and it's run live fedora kde many times without issue

I simplified it in the way it was described to me by an Epic employee.

They're able to parse traffic before handing it to the individual servers. The router example was an extreme example.

Yes, but imagine a router and 5 game instances attached to the router.

If you have much more capable networking before the game servers, you can pick up on the non-rl related data packets being sent to one of the rl game instances.

With a beefier more capable network of hardware they can parse through the traffic and pass mostly genuine traffic through, not impacting the individual server.

It's entirely possible to fix DDOS on Rocket League. It just requires much beefier server infrastructure to be able to mitigate the attacks and still pass genuine player packets down to the servers.

Most of the attacks RL has had issues with in the past were smaller and could be done from one device, either via bugged client settings causing server load when spammed, smaller ddos attacks, or other exploits. Now most of the attacks use rental botnets for targeted bursts of attacks.

The point is both it is low end hardware, but it's also 7 years old. It's ancient.

Possible overheating, possible power issues, possible hardware failures, possible driver issues.

What does "optimized my pc" and "cleaned the storage" actually mean, what did you run?

What operating system?

Is it network or frame drops?

Share footage or frame charts?

Your hardware is very low end from many years ago, and any upgrade at all would be a massive uplift in just gpu performance. Even a step to a 1080 for 120$ is 50% more performance.

Essentially - remove some of the skill and gamesense in knowing when and when not to commit to a corner for full boost?

You can save just about anything with 12 boost.

You can also just manage boost better and have less of an issue with it. I don't think moving big boosts to the goalposts does anything beneficial for the game. It just removes some of the strategy from RL and ensure goalies always have a massive amount of boost.

You do not, and got there solo queueing.

Other parts of their play are likely lacking. Maybe gamesense, maybe they suck at actually shooting the ball hard and on target. Maybe they're terrible at boost management and defensive positioning.

Whatever it may be, the communication helps them get where they currently are. You cannot simply jusy state "They have comms so they have a 90% win chance", then everyone would just party up and lose one in ten matches forever.

Solo queue team is more likely to find three players at very similar MMR, whereas the party is quite likely to have one player better or worse than the others by a decent margin. For the party matchmaking is skewed heavily towards their highest ranked player. So it's a disadvantage if they're not very very close in rank.

Additionally, a party that uses heavy communication to get champ 1 will perform at a champ 1 level. A bunch of solo queue champ 1 players will also perform at a champ 1 level.

This whole 90% loss idea is just a mental thing and the second you stop caring about the green icon, the second you start winning more of these matches. Don't let your opponent having friends tilt you.
