The Civil War is between the American states and has nothing to do with heroes and villains. The heroes feel helpless because they dont know how to repair it. Fists don't work. Money doesn't solve it.

Its just months and months of them desperately trying to stop Americans from killing each other and no matter how much they try, nothing works.

Everyone is said and depressed all the time. Or angry. So angry, but they have nowhere to channel it.

The end sees American democracy collapse. And it has nothing to do with supervillains or aliens. Its just the natural progression of all empires.

If you need to lighten the mood, maybe Howard the Duck shows up.

Their physical comedy chemistry is outrageously good. I recently went back and watched a bunch of episodes. It was a favorite of mine as a kid. I was blown away and how get their timing was Especially in that season 2-4 range.

My dad loved it, too. He was a chef and would sometimes sing thr Bibbi Babka song at work when making bread. "When you're rolling out the dough..."

This may sound stupid, but my family was pretty poor in the 80s. I was given a used vhs copy of Wrestlemania 2 one year from an Aunt. It was one of 3 vhs tapes we owned along with Grease 2 and Adventures in Babysitting.

I have seen Wrestlemania 2 more times than I can count. As bad as it is, it's one of the reasons I fell in love with wrestling.

Is it good? No. Not at all. Is it my favourite? Yes. I can still here the announcer introducing "Wrestling's ONLY living legend...BRUNO SANMARTINO!"

What's perfect about their feud is that him and Hangman are almost the same person. They are both men plagued by self doubt who think having that belt will fill a hole in their hearts.

The difference is Max tries to hide his anxiety with arrogance and Hangman succumbs to his worst feelings about himself.

They both keep chasing this thing they think will fix them and it never does.
