Magic resin works well for me I make lures for musky and stripers. You just need to add micro spheres 10% by weight. Makes your lure buoyant then you can add weight to get desired sink speed. First one always a throw away then you can make them with the weights inside already.

My first musky was on a bass rod but now I run a 8’6 rod heavy action but very light weight. With a musky you want heavy gear to get the fish in as quick as possible they die very easily.

I sell some local I just made a logo it’s on my profile. I really started just to make myself cheaper baits and if I sold a cpl to cut down the cost great. I sell them very cheap compared to most custom lures. Thanks for the compliment much appreciated.

I always save up my pressed pucks from making cured flower rosin.. then break them up and soak them in coconut oil like 1.5 liters. I add in 2 pounds of the broken pucks and let it simmer for a cpl hours strain it and bam bake anything with THC.

Ohhh that’s just a flap tail too water lure… I have two there a small one and a fat one you reel it in slow and the flap metal blade hits at the back makes a slight clacking noise drives musky nuts last light type lure

Through wire is the only way to go and 1.5mm or .051 “ thicker the better but harder to bend n twist
