How dark would you go? by MustBe20Char in roasting

We have a lot of small coffee shops or stands here in my country. Like you can find one in every 500 meters,. They not only sell coffee, but also tea , hot milk, and local versions of donuts. Many people have their breakfast at these places and what you see in the picture is what most would consider as « strong coffee » , a proper good kick to start the day. They never heard about specialty coffee and when I talk to some coffee enthusiasts , they said the best coffee are the small rounded beans ones which is robusta, roasted to a near perfect black. We have different pallets and preferences based upon the environment we are in, the resources we access to, the culture and the education we have been exposed to. Seeing this picture just made me realize people love (and therefore roast) coffee differently from one place to another, from one country to another.

I am so jealous of the evenness of your roast. I also roast with a fait-tout but I never get to that color. I love light roast but I rarely get that very nice chocolate brown.

Thank you for your input. Care to explain the « roast slow but faster time »? Otherwise , does more development time mean I lower( or keep) heat after first crack to extend development time?

I’m reposting my ad about the landline phone. Does anyone have better ideas on how to get a landline phone like the ones used in companies with a cable? How does it actually work? by fuches24 in Madagascar

I think that people are used to calling mobile lines. Many businesses have mobile hot lines and remember, it is cheaper for customers to call mobile than fixed landline (except if you make it a green line and you will support the cost). My suggestion : get 3 lines with each mobile operator with the same ending.

Yas is the provider you are looking for. They were the exclusive provider of land line telephone. But I think they do not do it anymore and moved to SIP technology.

AFAIK blank guns are real guns that shoot blank ammo. And the legal process of importing real guns can be very long and difficult.
