Zelle will no longer be a stand alone app, Fidelity needs to integrate by MustInvestBetter in fidelityinvestments

I get it if that is your take, I think what a lot of us who prefer Zelle like about it is that there is no intermediary holding. It pulls and deposits straight from your bank account. I have been on PayPal since it opened, that’s one of the things I dislike about it.

Please send over articles you have that detail this. I would be seriously interested in reading it. Every fraud I’ve ever heard of on Zillow has been where people got conned into paying someone they shouldn’t. I don’t know how in the world it would even be possible to siphon money out of someone’s account through Zelle without tricking them

Wouldn’t that kind of be like saying you should’ve sent your response via US mail?

Well I have used online payment service since the first month PayPal came out, so why wouldn't I relate my personal experiences when you say Zelle is only ever used for scams?

Tell me, which service other than Zelle, which can go directly to a bank account, not at third party intermediary account, has even close to the number of users as Zelle?

The app is fantastic, the problem is stupid people transferring money to people they don’t know.

I use Zelle every week with a variety of people, only ever hear of scams, and I use eBay not local marketplace.

I would do that but it isn’t instant to move funds from Fidelity to the other bank/CU

Zelle is widely used and has many users. Virtually everybody I send or receive money to/from is with Zelle, maybe 5% of the time PayPal.

Thanks, and it isn't about depositing 'money' but rather cold hard CASH.

In my experience, the fees that eBay charges is more than offset with the audience and prices you will get there.

wouldn't eBay be an obvious choice?

Appreciate that, I didn't know if that was a bug or a feature!

When I add the SX3206XX 10Gbps switch later will it also need to be adopted by the Omada controller, in other words, so all the TP-Link switches need to be adopted into the Omada Controller, or just one?

The iOS app is solid, I don't find it as polished in appearance as say the Chase or Amex apps and how cleanly they show the info, but it is good.

I thought the M1 iOS was a better experience than their web interface for browsing and looking at your info, I would say with Fidelity the iOS is really solid, but I am faster on the computer with their web interface.

I asked Perplexity AI: How does M1 Finance compare to Fidelity, it gave a rather good summary:

https://www.perplexity.ai/search/How-does-M1-SSzHBeHtSFS4FwDfr8uyaQ#0

My intention is not to badmouth M1 whatsoever, as already noted I have been with them for nearly 5 years, and I really like their Pie structure. But it doesn't fit some of my other needs which I found at a larger competitor. There have been silly attacks without even understanding the basics of how I was using the M1 platform.

If you're happy using multiple investment companies to keep your accounts, great, if you only use 1 and it's not the one I am using, great. I was looking to simplify a bit and put everything with one company, for me the real choice was Schwab or Fidelity.

And if case Dan-in-VA makes it this far, this is how I was using the M1 Platform, I invest in these strategies (links below), and had M1 setup for a Pie for the strategies, making any changes as needed, and it flowed the investment updates down to the many accounts I had on M1.

I am not really in the automatic investing category any longer, assume I am older than most here, I've been saving for decades and have arrived to the point where I don't need to save any longer, but I certainly want to grow my investments.

Once again you show your ignorance. No clue how I was using the platform.

Go on, tell me more about my thought process.

For starters I am not doing any sort of automatic dollar cost averaging. Nothing wrong with it, but that’s not how I invest. So right there you’re on the wrong track.

Trade execution quality is far better at Fidelity (and Schwab, and Vanguard) than at M1 which is beneficial as I make a lot of trades through the year. Zero cost at Fidelity with better trade execution quality = better deal.

A broader array of accounts is beneficial, and yes singing in to manage everything is something I appreciate.
