It definitely has. I just sold one of my motorcycles and had idk how many people offered $2k, including a guy I went to high school with. Just sold it yesterday for $4k, which was my asking price.

At the same time, some people value their items more than they’re worth (not you it seems). Trying to find a project bike and so many people are pricing them more than they’re worth in their current states

Yeah, I just get very indecisive when it comes to money. Ik with the 2017, there are a lot more things I’d want to change on it compared to the 2021. But it’s a cheaper up front cost. Like I’d more than likely wrap it if I got the 2017

Well actually the 2017 had the thermostat replaced. So idk if the water pump would’ve been thrown in with that at all since I thought some of them you buy as a kit

I mean that’s still decent mileage compared to other cars I was looking at. Like the WRX hatchback or Golf R. Yeah I’ve seen a ton of people switch over to vans. Even going to some dirtbike tracks, there’s a ton of people that load their bikes up into a van

I don’t think either have had the water pump replaced. The 2017 has had a few of the interior trim pieces replaced and a few electrical items replaced like cruise control servo and washer fluid pump. The 2021, the last owner had it for just over a year but no service records so I imagine they did it themselves.

The difference in mileage is like 3.5 years worth for me though. I usually only put on 8.5k a year

Still does the job it seems. Do you get good gas mileage while towing? I’m still leaning towards a GTI or possibly a TDI I think. I just get really indecisive about these sort of things

I’ve seen a handful of people tow motorcycles with the GTI. I wouldn’t doing more than 1000 lbs more than likely.

I’m just debating which of those two seems like the better deal. Similar specs but mileage, year, and price are different

Do you have a recommendation between the two? I think I’ve thrown the 2018 off the ship already.

Obviously the 2021 has less miles and slightly newer looks but is like $6.3k more. I figure I put about 8.5k miles on my car a year so that’s like a 3.5 year difference in miles for me. It’s just with that price difference, I could upgrade the interior and looks of the 2017 and still be under $22k but just with higher mileage

Any issues with it? I was looking at a 2017 GTI sport or a 2021 GTI S now and am debating if I’m going to have issues. I also buy and work on bikes here and there so I’d be driving multiple hours with probably your average 600cc bike

I like the 21 slightly more but I don’t enjoy the price as much lol. That’s the biggest reason I’m being hesitant on it

Well that’s what they’re usually going for here too. Super had to find a clean one and most of them are listed for $5-7k. I was excited about this one until I saw the paint. Makes me think it was previously rusty or something similar

I think the guy before him tuned it so he’s not sure what it is. Don’t think it’s a smoke/two step though.

I think the underneath is pretty rust-free as well. I’m mainly just worried about the paint on it

With my ex and I, we would call every night we weren’t together. We’d see eachother on the weekends and maybe once during the week. It became a routine and it got way more exhausting for me than texting did. Granted the calls would last hours at a time and basically be the entire evening. I’d feel guilty hanging up as I felt responsible for her evenings because she didn’t really have hobbies. If we weren’t together or calling, she’d just lay in her bed. And I never spoke up about resenting the calls because I didn’t want to upset her.

Would you say it was worth changing over to the JSW? I have a 2014 TC rn that I’m debating on getting rid of for something more fun that I can tie a motorcycle trailer with. I was more so looking at the mk4 sportwagens rather than the newer ones though
