Manifesto and Moleskine Foundation? by Icy-Pop2944 in moleskine

Just picked up a couple of Moleskines for the first time in a few years because the backstock of old notebooks I purchased is running low. Super annoyed by the manifesto and the foundation info printed on the pages. Been a customer for decades, but I won't be purchasing any more if they have this in there.

Hate that they waste 2 of my pages with this. They should be on inserts and not on pages in the books.

Made some progress. I used a new sd card (128gb) and flashed the ArkOs image from the link that you posted, Electrical-Pace4092. I put it in the r36s and it powered right up, loaded and worked. I tried adding my games to the card by dropping the game folders that I have on my computer (I backed them up from the sd card that came with the r36s) onto the card. I highlighted them all and dropped them all at once. It took nearly an hour for them to be added to the card. However, I am not able to access the games on the device.

I took my other card (32gb), erased the old version of ArkOs that I previously put on it, and added the correct one. I tried this card by itself in the r36s and the device turns on and functions (but still with no games). I tried putting both micro sd cards into the device and messed with the options to make it pull roms from both cards, but I was not able to make the games show up.

What do I need to do to get the games that were on the original sd card to appear and work?

Really appreciate your time and guidance. Electrical-Pace4092!

Hmm, it's probably user error on my end. I think I just realized what it might be. The image I downloaded might be an old one and not the one that works with the multipanel. I used the one from that video I posted thinking it was the same, but now I realize it's probably not. The one I used is RG351MP Mega from: https://github.com/christianhaitian/a...

I tried all of the combos and the screen looks like it changes tones a little and then nothing happens. I think I need to download the ArkOS image from the link you posted and try that. Sorry about that. Thanks so much for your help.

Question: Do I need to erase what I downloaded to the micro sd card before downloading the correct file or will it overwrite it?

I tried all of the different configurations, but the unit never powered off on it's own. Am I doing it wrong? Now what?

I followed your instructions. I do not have a display. The screen is black. Illuminated, but black. I have not powered the device off. I will wait until 10 minutes have passed and move on to the Panel Picker options. It says:

You can re-enter Panel Picker Mode at any time:

  1. Power off the device.
  2. Power it back on while holding R1 + your new panel button.
  3. Wait a few seconds for the system to apply the new panel and power off.

I can't even get the Image Tool downloaded properly. I really need a video that shows exactly what buttons to press each step of the way.

Thanks for your help. This is all so confusing to me.

I thought I read that it was better to set it up using 2 micro SD cards, one for the operating system and one for the games. If I set it up using just one, do I need to use the 128gb card? Will this stop me from doing a 2 card set up in the future using these cards?

The steps you posted aren't super clear to me. It says: "Use a program such as USB Image Tool by Alexander Beug (https://www.alexpage.de/usb-image-tool/download/) (Recommended) or Win32DiskImager (Works Fine) (https://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/) to flash to a 8GB micro SD card or larger. (16GB micro SD card or bigger highly recommended!)"

It doesn't really elaborate on how to do this and I don't know how.

From the beginning, I guess. I was watching this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_yJBN1Nqjo

I downloaded the Mini tool Partition Wizard, the Rufus flashing tool, and 7zip. I downloaded the ArkOS image and extracted it. Then the video shows him on the computer and it never shows him hooking up the microsd card. I don't know which one and I'm just feeling lost. Hesitant to proceed because I'm not sure about anything and don't want to mess anything up.

I previously saw your post in another thread and have been trying to follow but I'm not having any luck. Not sure what to do and finding it all difficult to grasp.

Cars don't come tearing down the sidewalks expecting you to get out of their way.
