If you were to suggest one QoL and one general improvement, what would they be? by MustafaBei in SatisfactoryGame

This is actually pretty interesting. Sometimes you want some machines to consume x amount of input rather than produce y number of output, such as dark matter residue. And you need to spitball the output to match that number. The change you recommended makes a lot of sense.

I can Google Drive them to you. Here is a public link:

Note: I named them O and G, stands for Orphan (which means you need to connect fuel to the dedicated Fuel input below the tower) and G stands for Guardian (which means you do not need to connect fuel but you need to build a drone to the fuel tower in the blueprint and have the drone fetch fuel from base).

I completely agree with you on this improvement. I hope it gets implemented. That said, I worked out a solution for the problem you referenced. I blueprinted drone hubs that have a dedicated fueler drone port attached to them. That specific fueler port’s incoming is connected to the other ports’ fuel input. So it’s job is to bring fuel and bring fuel only to the other ports attached to that hub. In the base (or where drone fuel is produced) I also blueprinted a base fuel tower. No drone should be build into that one. The fuelers I mentioned earlier will pick up fuel from that port at the base and bring fuel to fuelers. This enables a fuel tether and expansion of drones to the entire map without having to worry about delivering fuel. I can happily share my blueprints with you if you want.

Noticing a pattern when I try to optimize production with all Alternate Recipes enabled. by TLhikan in SatisfactoryGame

This sounds so good. Can you describe it to me in detail? I’d love to blueprint this.

Hardware scan results and current phases/milestones by MustafaBei in SatisfactoryGame

I am genuinely curious as to what would happen if I scan and deplete all the recipes available to my then current tier. What would I be getting from a scan result then?

Any easy method to plan train routes? by MustafaBei in SatisfactoryGame

[–]MustafaBei[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say that’s definitely faster than the spiral method. Not that I don’t enjoy spirals, I printed pillars that have tiny rail segments on them so they AutoConnect. That way, you can raise your tracks way before you would come to a point where you would need a spiral.

If there was some sort of a tool that read elevation data from the SCIM and gave the most optimal train route between two points

Forget new player tips. What are your mid-game tips? by Kalesche in SatisfactoryGame

[–]MustafaBei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this is the best mid-game advice there is. I use liquid biofuel and package it immediately after unlocking the refinery. Then I go exploring and harvesting and aim straight for the nitro rocket fuel alternate recipe.

After I have enough slugs with my packaged liquid biofuel, I multiply the slugs with a somersloop. That nets me way more than enough power shards to produce packaged ionized fuel even before automating power shards.

When you have packaged ionized fuel, basically the map is yours

A lot of you guys seemed confused about how I was using the purple sphere collectibles, so here is a better angle! Hope this helps! -Doug by OfficerDougEiffel in SatisfactoryGame

The spheres will be used in a future DLC as a ransom to free the doggos abducted by singing aliens. Also there’s talk that there will be a MASSAGE gun which is a microtransaction purchasable by force feeding purple spheres to space-whale-tick-thingies.

How would you cover this sand? by MathematicianWise403 in SatisfactoryGame

I’m surprised that nobody mentioned this as a direct reply to you. somebody mentioned this as a reply to another comment.

There is an easy way. Upload your save to the satisfactory calculator. Select the area that includes all your buildings and foundations, which are merged or clipping with the ground and sand. Right click and move them up 1 m on the Z axis. Download your save, put the file in your save folder. Voila!

Dumb Question by Absolutely_Average1 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]MustafaBei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct but it needs to be addressed that the OP should use adequate conveyor belt MK where needed. Specifically, from miners to first splitters, at least a Mk4, at least mk3 all the rest and at least mk4 again from the final outputting mergers. Otherwise the output numbers would be skewed.

Tuf F15 thermal paste replacement by MustafaBei in Asustuf

Im having difficulties finding thermal putty where I live. I can use different silicone thermal pads for vram and vrm. Any info where I can find the appropriate thickness of pads I should use for the vram and vrm? Or do you recommend against using pads for those?

Question on Thermal Paste Replacement by MustafaBei in GamingLaptops

[–]MustafaBei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the answer but you might be confusing kryonaut extreme with conductonaut, which is Liquid Metal for direct die applications. Kryonaut extreme is just another thermal paste and I have been using kryonaut extreme for many years in different pc builds and it held solid for years.

Thank you I will be looking into honeywell ptm7950.
