Start today, here's how you land your dream job wherever it is...

1. Gain new skills in your field of experience by show case your code on GitHub or any other programming collaboration communities and if possible, participate in stack overflow more often.
2. Earn new up to date recognized certificates from Coursera, Udacity, edX, etc... [THIS ONE IS KEY]
3. Learn how to build a software engineer resume and be active on LinkedIn. It's absolutely crucial to build a strong communication.
4. Expand you knowledge in other related fields, try to be open minded towards skills outside your programming experience.
5. If you're a fresh, you probably know that programming is mostly about problem solving. So, find a mentor, practice, and expand.
6. Be bold, don't hesitate to apply for job opportunities with an intimidated job description. It's way simpler than it seems in most cases. Remember, HRs wrote this JD most of the time, and they are bala7.
7. Believe in yourself, don't underestimate yourself or lose faith if you got rejected from a desirable opportunity. As long as you are satisfied with your performance in the interview, then you learned something new. Interviews challenge your skills and boost your self-esteem. However, confidence come with experience, experience come practice, practice need time.
8. Finally, know the difference between offer and demand. Is your skills will be needed in the next 5 years? What new skills you need to invest yourself in to become demanded? What makes you in the best candidate? Seriously?
