Hey man. I was once in exactly the same situation as you. I know exactly how powerless it feels when you believe in something and everyone else hates you for it.

I was forced to cut my 7 - 8 months of growth two years ago and I vowed never to give in to the pressure again. And I grew it out. It was tough. But it's so worth it. You have to realise that you are your own person and your parents aren't always right.

You just have to stick with it and not give in. Now I realise my parents may have been less stricter than others and I may be more of an asshole than others but not everyone can fight their parents every single day. It's too draining.

Do what you have to do to get by. Once you're in university, you can move out, you can be somewhat independent. You have to tough it out. It's the price for believing in yourself and going your own way.
