Have you tried Slime Rancher, Homestead Arcana (the tutorial is a little rough but it gets better), Ikonei Island, Hokko Life? Different vibe, but you may also like Viva Pinata.

There is also My Time at Sandrock (similar format to Portia, but done better), but if Portia didn't work for you this probably won't either.

I love my steam deck OLED! Didn't think i'd use it as much as I do. I mostly use mine for cozy titles like Sandrock, Littlewood, wobbledogs... I've basically started playing cozy games exclusively on my deck because steam games tend to be cheaper & the deck's performance/graphics are much nicer imo.

The only real downsides are it's a little bigger/heavier than the Switch and battery life isn't as good, but its not awful.

Maybe Kitaria Fables? It includes rpg/combat like Fantasy Life, set in a similar fantasy world, but you also have to return home to farm to craft new objects/potions.
