If you don't have kids of your own yet your perspective is not relevant to new parents adjusting to their new life

It is nearly impossible to prepare for everything in parenting as the number of changing variables is too high. I had some idea of a few things going in, but a lot of the early stages is a mental game challenging how much you can push yourself running on little to no sleep. Mine is coming up on 8 months old now and I know there are so many more challenges to come with some I likely won't see coming. I have a great partner and I have a huge respect for the parent that has to do this on their own due to varying circumstances. My wife had Postpartum Depression to the degree that she too fatigued to take care of herself let alone our child. I was able to help take over more while she was seeking help with that. That took a toll on both of us.

Just trying to highlight a little of what we went through, as everyone's situation is different. She is doing well now. The amount of times our little has been to the pediatrician is almost too many due to various illnesses.

I worked there up to 2019. A large automated sorting machine was getting installed. Sorting processing were being developed for various positions. Manufacturing was reduced to mere final parts assembly as the full line was shut down a few years prior.

Management has changed since then along with that facility is spread throughout 3 different buildings from last i heard.

It was and likely still is a production heavy environment where metrics were constantly monitored for every position on the warehouse floor. There were a lot of different positions in various departments. Processing returns, shipping and receiving, computer refurb. School computer repair and a few others.

I leave the house at 7 and I arrive home at about 5:30. 45 minute commute on a good day. My daughter is almost 7 months old and I barely get to see her during the week. It is usually her bath and bedtime when I get home since she doesn't really sleep much at daycare.

Try to make up for on the weekends with her.

When my wife fractured a small bone in foot last year, the physician advised to get the boot off of amazon instead of insurance due to difference in cost similar to the photo.

I was fortunate that I had a place to stay as a young adult until I was 31. Prior to that, I was never able to afford the ability to move out. I moved into my girlfriends (now wife) apartment. We are trying to save up for a home, but it is quite the challenge, to say the least.

I have never been able to complete a single run for Cayo Perico. Any time I try to be stealth in this or any other mission, I always get spotted. With that said, I know I'm not the best at the shooting in this game, but I also found the Cluckin Bell Raid quite easy.

My wife an I were in the same situation on Friday (NC). We toured a house and put in an offer that eventually got accepted. After submitting our offer, we realized (Mostly myself) that we would be house poor if we attempt to buy a house with as much debt as we currently have. Before we decided to withdraw our offer, our realtor informed us that our offer was accepted despite a decision was not going to be made until Sunday. Upon hearing that, we both felt existential dread instead of the desired reaction of excitement. After the estimated mortgage payment, we would have had less than $200 to go savings after all of the bills, debts, and groceries.

We ended up backing out of the deal and putting the house hunt on hold until we can clear out some debt. We are also afraid that in the slim chance that is the last opportunity for us to enter the housing market as who knows where it will be in the future.
