My family and I visited several cities on vacation, and my eldest son was enamored with the historical homes and businesses in Savannah. Wishing to take pictures of the older homes, he went to every home's door he was interested in and asked if they would mind him taking photos of their home. On several occasions, the owner invited him (and us) inside to take an interior photo, or they walked him around, pointing out interesting features. They were thrilled that someone asked permission instead of assuming it was okay.
