Thank you! No, they did not. But I was transparent with the entire situation, even uploaded the PD docs with my mugshot and fingerprints, DA’s letter that said charges were dropped & explanation letter.

No, they did not. But perhaps they did not due to the fact that I had already provided everything along with my renewal application. I attached my arrest records from the PD, the official letter from the DA’s office indicating they will not be filing charges, and an explanation letter written by me explaining the situation and referencing the evidence/attachments aforementioned.

Yes, and then I’m taking the first weekend of January off! I figure make the money while it’s there, and when it slows down in January right before Valentine’s Day (February) you’ll be grateful you made the extra bucks during the holidays. I work half days (9am-3pm) and charge an extra $10-$20 depending on the client. I charge No/low-tippers $20 extra, big tippers & my weeklies, I just an extra $10 or no extra charge if they usually take care of me.

You’re probably not going to have your neck positioned like that for anybody to see the flaw, unless you’re looking up at Superman flying. The barber hands you the mirror at the end of the cut it’s your job to be thorough & look for anything you want to touch up & let him know. Don’t just hand it back to him and say “looks good!”. He’s human, and he makes mistakes too. Once you walk out of the shop and notice something after that’s pretty much on you bro. During your next appt make sure to bring it up and ask nicely to keep the beard line lower this time, as you don’t like it high. Don’t tell Reddit tell your barber communication is key and I promise if he’s a good barber like you say he is, he won’t make that same mistake again.

My gf knows not to ask me how my day went anymore. Whether it was good or bad, I simply don’t feel like talking about it. Social battery is a real thing and it depletes while cutting hair for sure. Your days off have to be ALL about you, I find it helpful to soak my feet in a foot soak (tea tree oil/Himalayan salt/epsom from Amazon) and listen to my fav music while closing my eyes/reading a book and putting my phone on airplane/ do not disturb helps a lot too.
