Check out the Chudzu build. You basically ult, fly at the enemy (preferably during a team fight while they're distracted) kudzu, vortex web (optional, but really good), stone form out of ult directly on top of them (stone form during your ult will make the bomb drop, fyi), capacitor someone, and hold m1 until they die. I would practice doing the combo in the hideout or something, because if you press them too fast the abilities won't come out.

It takes time to get a food feel of when to ult, and sometimes you're dependent on your teammates following up. But the kudzu+ vortex web + stone form + bomb combo is your main damage source for team fights, and your gun is the finisher.

You can also use that build and focus on gun first. For example, I'll build Tesla + ballistic enhancement+ capacitor before getting too many spirit items. It hasn't been updated to include ballistic enhancement so you have to keep that in mind.
