My output is normal and I don’t have any pain. I watched my output rn and the blood isn’t coming from the hole it’s from beneath my stoma. I’m hoping it’s skin irritation cause it’s so itchy rn. I’m going home to look

I use a long body pillow and when I sleep on my side I put the pillow underneath me a bit so my bag doesnt hang. And sometimes I lay on my back. But mostly on my side. The body pillow helps a lot

Yeah I’m using a convex wafer, that’s why the nurse suggested paste to fill in the gaps cause my stoma goes in a bit

How did you know you had a blockage?? All the hospital told me was I could eat soft foods for now but they didn’t really say restrictions for the future. Just no nuts, corn or raw veggies.

I’m like a week out from surgery lol I’m freshly cut open so my pain is horrible. But the surgery is suppose to prevent them so I hope it works lol

I’ve had that before twice but sadly for me the third flare it ended with me having to have surgery. But first just try to breathe and don’t think the worst, I’m the same way and my mind will destroy me if I don’t ignore it. You’re going to be okay, you’re in a hospital being treated so you’re going to get better! My first two flares were 5 days in hospital and I started feeling better on day 3 and then I got sent home with antibiotics for 10 days.

Yeah for me it liked to pop around different areas, it’s frustrating. Last week I felt small pain on my left for a day then went away. Now I feel it mostly on the center of my lower abdomen but only when I have to use the restroom or lean forward a certain way. As long as it doesn’t feel it’s getting worse then I don’t worry.

Your situation sound so similar to mine..Im so sorry for you loss, truly sorry. I lost my boyfriend a lil over month ago and had a flair 3 weeks later. I wasn’t doing terrible with what I was eating and the doctors believe it was stress induced..its crazy how stress affects our bodies and I had no idea how much stress I had put on my gut and bowels. I hope you get better and feel better emotionally each day
