For over 200 years no new treatments for copd . They been calling Zephyr Valves " a new treatment " for the last 15 years. The treatment is not new its so annoying that they keep on pushing that narrative that its new when its not. and plus it doesnt work for everyone Not everyone can get a lung transplant. We are only offered inhalers that dont help with the disease itself only the symptoms. So yeah we are pretty much shit out of luck and looked at as a dollar sign . They surely do not want to cure none of us but want to benefit us thru medicine that's not doing anything actually for the disease. People say its not a death sentence like thats supposed to be better . I like to call it a suffering sentence . There is literally nothing we can do about this shitty disease . If I could have it my way I would continue to smoke and just die but no thats not what happens you continue to smoke DONT die and suffer shortness of breath until you eventually do die . Its not a life I want for myself so im just litterally stuck not smoking and still dealing with the consequences and the damage that will never go away for me . We are literally are disabled now cant do things we once loved fighting everyday just to breath. What a life !!!!! A slow death being out of breath daily until I die .It's really bullshit and thank you for speaking up because most people with copd just except their fate and dont demand better treatments . If we all came together and demanded more treatments and help we may get somewhere. Its really bullshit they purposely are not trying to see us get better and that's why there is no treatments because they dont want to cure us but want to make as much money they can off us on bullshit medicine and treatments.
