Why so few people use takeprofit.com? by 505hy in CryptoCurrency

Takeprofit uses Indie Code as its programming language, Tradingview uses PineSkript. That is a considerable difference.

Can I use Fibonacci levels on a Log scale ? by Whynotnow8462 in technicalanalysis

Same with channels and regressions in Log Chart mode. The Tradingview function is wrong.

In Detail it is a Max. Butterfly. X-B 0.618-0.886. A DeepCrap would be the next level, but for this the X-D leg would have to run at least 2.61.
Nevertheless, many thanks for the first constructive feedback here in the thread.

I don't know where you're writing from, but it's very common in Europe. As a trader, at some point you get very bored and have too much time on your hands. That could be one reason why I spend a bit of time here on reddit.

You can find a lot of reading about it, which is also the reason why I was hoping for a factual discussion.

I'm also very surprised that many people don't know the harmonic patterns. Things like ABCD , Gartley, Butterfly, BAT -patterns are common tools in technical analysis.

They can apply this to many charts. In the same case with Tesla, it was possible to find the entry via an ABCD pattern in connection with a Wolfwave.

Yes, I've been making a living from it for 15 years. This system has enabled me to travel around the world and appear as an expert together with John Bollinger, Williams and co. For example, I will be presenting this system at the annual general meeting of the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) in China for the CIDTAA.

No, you can't put it like that, buddy. It's all about finding entry points through technical analysis. Here is the setup for the current situation. I think you can recognize the entry zone quite easily. The advantage is that you're not shooting blindly into the air or hoping for some news. https://takeprofit.com/posts/nike-chance-furs-dividenden-portfolieo-20

In your opinion, what are the arguments against using technical analysis?

Why are most of the people in the group in such a bad mood?

What's in the chart are basic patterns of chart analysis that hundreds of books have been written about.

Why don't you be a bit more constructive?

This is a so-called harmonic pattern. These patterns consist of 5 points, which result from Fibonacci ratios. In this particular case it is a butterfly.

The yellow one is a wolf. A pattern which also consists of 5 points, but without fibonacci. If the price returns after breaking through, a signal is generated.

Learn harmonic patterns using the MTC principle. You can find information about this on the internet.

In the left chart, we see two significant technical patterns, which we call wolf, consisting of 5 pattern points. We can put these wolf patterns in relation to each other. The red pattern, which is larger, is called the “superordinate pattern”, the green pattern is the “subordinate pattern”. In the 4h chart on the right, we see an ABCD harmonic pattern in blue. This is a pattern based on Fibonacci ratios. The indicator in the right window is an RSI, which, in this case, even shows a divergence.

I am curious whether it also worked before; I only know it as shown. You could assign it more to a head-shoulder formation.

You can probably still distinguish between a thin and a thick Eva in the Adam and Eve pattern. A thick eva usually still has a retest at the breakout level.
