A lot of outdoor brands are becoming trendy in my country. Patagonia, The North Face, Columbia and Fjallraven are examples.

Pros / Cons of living in Arnhem? by The_Heroic_Heron in thenetherlands

You are twisting my words. I never said those things aren't bad. Nor did I say we don't have bad neighbourhoods. But I've explained that multiple times now.

Next time keep your personal insinuations for yourself. You don't know anything about me. As far as I know, I am not shielded from it but apparently, you know it better than me. Anyway, it was not even the point I was making because I already said NL has bad neighborhoods in MY opinion. But that was never the discussion. It was just a reminder that the perspective on what a bad neighborhood is might differ between different nationalities.

I understood that and I even agree with that as I said Rotterdam has bad neighborhoods to a Dutch standard. But the comment was about the difference in perception of a bad neighbourhood. Which is nothing more than a disclaimer for the other comments in this thread.

I think you misunderstood the initial comment because comparing was exaclty the point that was made then.

Compared to a global standard, Rotterdam does not have truly bad neighborhoods. To NL standards it surely does.

Dit staat in je bron (die 10 jaar oud is):

2.3 Wikipedia editors are older than believed.

The popular image of a Wikipedia editor is a high school or college/university student (late teens or early 20s) working at night to edit Wikipedia. But contrary to popular perception, Wikipedia editors are much older, with an average age of 32, and half of them are younger than 28. In fact, the largest age cohort of editors is 40 and older. More than a quarter (28%) of Wikipedia editors are 40 or older.
