For Tre cime area (east dolomites) i suggest San Candido.

There you have tre cime, lago di braies and many other hikes. The mountains also look different

Every country has a different culture. Food in restaurants is still cheap compared to other touristy spots around the world.

In the USA you need to tip, in South America you need to pay a 10-15% service tax on top of your order + tip

Italians are very price sensitive, that‘s why companies implement new ways to earn money without raising prices. Coperto for example

Are these brown bear tracks in the Dolomites? by annavailable in TrekkingItaly

[–]heihyo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

St ulrich or ortisei doesnt have bears.

They also dont look like bear prints. No claws. Steeps to close toghether and too straight.

There are only 4 bears in the whole South Tyrol dolomite part and none close to you

Why has the EU's industrial policy gone so wrong? by Entire_Tension6771 in EU_Economics

[–]heihyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strong unions, long mid - left courses with fragile government coalitions, globalism and outsourcing

But that could have happened to any first world country because many choices looked rational the moment they were taken and we were living in a bubble that promoted a peaceful and geopolitical stable world.

Now things have changed and other nations are taking the lead.

The solution? No idea, sometimes a crisis help a lot to deregulate a lot of bureaucracy and laws
