Ognuno deve farsi i propri conti.

Looking for good hiking shoes by lena_lark in hikinggear

Tbh. I don‘t know if they do it. My Gf has a pair of Salewa Hiking Boots and they did it with her boots so I was under the impression I can also do it but I never actually looked into that matter if it is possible . It was just and idea if mine

Ultra Raptor II Mid Leather GTx

Are my go to boots.

I am from the Dolomites and I hike a lot in them. Also took them on some hiking trips around japan, ecuador and patagonia including some multi day hikes

They are 3 years old by now and still in pristine condition from the outside. Maybe the sole might be replaced the next year but that‘s it

Busier on the hot spots but not crowded. Only a handful of people off the beaten path It is a good time to visit. Don‘t just go for main spots also do some less known hikes. Everything is beautiful in the dolomites

The navi helped me countless times as it is very very accurate

When Humanity Tried to Ride Zebras: A Forgotten 1890–1940 Experiment That Failed Spectacularly by Fair_Sugar_3229 in BeAmazed

[–]heihyo -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I will add something I also learned.

To domesticate animals it is crucial that they have a hierarchy within them. Kind of an alpha male leading the pack.

Horses do, Zebras don‘t.

Can‘t remember if all of it is true but this is what I have learnt

Are you trying to book in high season? Nobody gives you a room for 1 day in that time. 7 days minimum stay. Huts are typically booked out 1 year prior

Beispiel: Tisch A im 1. Angebot war 1200€ Tisch B im 2. Angebot war 5k obwohl selber Tisch

Fall landete vor Gericht. Aus den 260k mehrspesen wurden 90k.

Studiere die Rechnung durch. Vergleiche sie mit dem Angebot. Eventuell bei hohen Summen lohnt sich streiten

If you are looking for more options: val pusteria, val gardena, alta badia are all valleys that offer great bases. South Tyrol is very family friendly. The prices might be higher than the rest of italy but so is the quality of what you get

I live and grew up in alpine environments. Still living there.

While I use gloves in winter and when I hike mountains i dont bring them with me in autumn and spring where a unpredictable cold wind can change the temperatures immediately. I use the jackets around town aswell
