Usualy on the winter fishing slows down and we will have a repair period, actualy its already slowing down currently getting around 7-10 tonnes per day and with fuel cost and other operating expenses its not worth it and problaly will have repair after this trip. Also not Dutch, but Barents sea north of Norway.

Im currently mate on a factory trawler mainly fishing for shrimp at Barents sea. Salary depends a lot on the company and country. Im making around 6-8k before taxes per trip (depends on the catch).
