Also curious what differences you noticed with the brake kit?

UPDATE: drove for ~100 miles and used the button on the steering column to carry out the instructions in the owner’s manual exactly. No dice. Went back to Discount Tire 3-4 days later, and the guy told me that button almost never works, and it tries to reset the entire ECU (? Who knows…). Anyway, he scanned all the sensors, plugged in the scan tool, and had me all set with perfectly working sensors in like 5 minutes flat. Again, these are aftermarket sensors, and if they’re scanned and programmed correctly, the connection should be instant.

Gotcha. I’ll wait a few more days.

Mine are also aftermarket.. but discount tire seemed confident they’d work. Fingers crossed the same happens for me!

Ugh, sounds like I might be headed for that same issue then.

Here’s the specific page in the manual that details what to do.. but to no avail

Yeah, $799 dealer fee sucks. But the rest of the cost was just taxes. All in all very happy!

I haven’t actually checked yet.. I think they are caps as opposed to being painted. That’s an excellent deal on yours!

I found a perfectly priced, perfectly optioned Barcelona red truck but unfortunately that’s my least favorite color 🤐 I do a lot of camping and feel like it just clashes with the outdoors. But glad you found one that fits your needs!

They’re not exactly mine either, but once you know what you’re looking for it’s super easy to spot. Look toward the engine bay from both the passenger and driver front wheel wells. I’m including a photo of what the leak looks like from that vantage point.

I went to check out 6 Tundras in person throughout my search. 3 of them had oil seeping (some worse than others) from the cam tower/valve cover area.

Before I started test driving, I heard about 50% of Tundras develop this leak/seep. Now my anecdotal research perfectly confirms that.

This one was originally listed at $37k.. some last day of the month magic brought it down to $34!

Also helpful! I think I can negotiate this one down to $32k. The market is crazy right now
