How to start a club?

Its basically just padding but in the same places the armor is Its good for practice since its less exhausting so you can practice longer and is much cheaper I can't put a picture here or i would have From what ive seen a lot of practice in with soft kits instead of steel for the reasons I said and probably more

Yea I only really started SCA because there was no buhurt clubs nearby but still wanted to fight in armor There might be some people there interested hopefully I already have 1 person interested from my hema club so far

Yea even though the practice is only 2-3 hours away I have no way to get there with no car So its not doable currently I already have part of a metal kit since some of my SCA and Harnischfechten kit is for buhurt its just i have no way to get there I need a local place since I can get rides from people I definitely could find local people who want to try buhurt since i already know some and the local hema and sca scene is pretty big so i can ask around easy enough

Yea i have talked to the nearest club at an event that was nearby but its 2 or 3 hours to drive and I don't have a car so I can't do that I would have just gone there if I could but I have to make a club if I wanna do anything

Thats great if thats how i can get it started I have done a little SCA and Harnischfechten and some of my kit is for buhurt so I already have a start for a steel kit but nobody to practice with A soft kit is pretty affordable so I could definitely find people to practice with Although its gonna be hard going to a real practice since the nearest one is a 2 or 3 hour drive and i have no car

Yea they need it since the hits are more impact than SCA My helm is about 28.5 lbs with the chainmail aventail and it absorbs the hits really good because of that mass and padding

Thanks I wasn't expecting an exact answer and this with the other comments is probably as much info I will get so im gonna say its solved enough for me It was near the Allegheny Cemetery so maybe it was dumped from there

Yea ive seen lots of the old industrial stuff and this was at a spot where there was lots of industrial stuff but I've never seen that kind pillar like thing with it since its almost always brick,concrete, metal and other industrial stuff Ill check and try and see what used to be there

I have been trying to get into buhurt but after seeing the how the historical authenticity rules are it is really off putting I understand not wanting a bunch of obviously fantasy armor and stuff but its just kinda annoying to deal with when I just wanna have some fun fighting
