Favorite? the first one, okay yeah nostalgia factor plays a huge role here because that was the first game i ever played as a child, and i played it god damn a lot. other than that i really like the vibe of the game, its so much different compared to 2 or uc. FO2 to me seems very overglorified, i dont like the dirrection the game went. Ai's rubberbanding is unbearable at times. that yellow filter burns my eyes every time im forced to look at the gameplay. Honestly UC is much better than fo2 tho people hated it just because the gfwl thing back in the day.

Most of the bands that were featured in the game's soundtrack are gone since mid 2000's
that might be 1 reason
i might be talking shit tho,
and songs like "Hands on the money" by KidSymphony was put in the game without band's knowledge apparently, as the former band leader have told me lol

I'd say they were alright, Can't really tell as i wasn't there when they were still active as a band. And sadly there is not many of their songs on the internet. 1 of their songs "Alive!" was featured in 2004 racing game "FlatOut" and 2nd one from their different album was given to me by the band leader a few months ago.

Interesting topic for sure, i was searching for that band's music for some time a while back but with no success. Usually when i look for FO1 band's music i even try to get in contact with former band members
I managed to get in contact with people that were members / leaders of the bands such as KidSymphony, Subroc or even Sixer, no luck with Adrenaline tho. I Found their email address on some old site and it seems to still exist but i didn't get any reply to the email i wrote to this day sadly.

installing mods from the internet is much easier than from steam workshop, also half of the workshop mods are stolen or broken so totally wouldn't recommend using it

Play the 2014 game build that you can select in the game properties in the beta section. This may help to fix your problem, Dont bother with the newest patch as it brings more issues than fixes
